Mini DIN 8 pin Male MD8 to Wire End Connecter Adapter Cable (1.5mtr)

All wires present and accounted for use. All I needed.

The Pinout graphic mentions a White wire, but there was no white wire in the cable I received. Took a multimeter to it and everything else in the diagram checked out with pin 9 corresponding to Purple instead of White.

I purchased this device as a way to learn RS422 and RS232 for VISCA controler for PTZ cameras. It did just what I needed it to do.

Color chart doesn't exactly match wire color to pin position, I suggest doing a pinout yourself but overall a decent cable

Well made cable. It would be very helpful to include a chart matching wire color to pin number.

I would hope to see a plug with an internal metal strain relief.

If you’re using it to communicate with a PLC, this isn’t the one for you. The shielding is very off, to the point that it rendered the cable useless, only way to use it would be to figure out a way to punch those bevels from the inside, or to modify the PLC connector (don’t.. absolutely don’t do that). The cable may work for other systems, but for a PLC, the tolerances are just way too low for it to plug in. Just this one oversight rendered the cable completely useless. I tried twisting with needle nose pliers, doesn’t work, one solid piece.

Für den Adapter habe ich einen Cinch-Stecker dazubestellt. Die braune Litze mit dem Cinch-Innenleiter verlötet, die rote Litze und die Masse mit dem Cinch-Aussenleiter. Funktioniert wie in der Yaesu- und der Endstufenbetriebsanleitung beschrieben. (TX to ground)
