I understand this product does not have a bad smell, but is it oily?

a little oily - however this product didn't work for me very well - I still got mosquito bites

Approximately how many people or applications will I get with the 3 ounce pump spray bottle?

Mine is a 4 oz non-aerosol, Maxi-Deet pump spray with no indication of # of applications on the label. We have only used it on small areas—neck, arms, ankles. My best guess for full-body application would be 8 per ounce. We spray and rub over exposed skin surfaces and/ or clothing, not spraying directly on face, using sprayed hands to apply to face, away from eyes and mouth. Works well; good stuff!

Can I use this product and go to bed. In another words, does this product can be used for indoor mosquitoes?

Max Deet can be used any way you want except drinking it. It works indoors or out. Very effective and not offensive. It doesn't stain clothing or even bed sheets. Works really well and you won't need a mosquito net even in the jungles of Central America. Only thing I ever found that works effectively.
