I love it when a product is actually as good as the seller said it was (update)
I’ve already reviewed the seller for attention (product was promised in 5 days, arrived in 2; and was appropriately boxed), and this is about the product:The computer worked immediately, and with no issues. So far I’ve added a USB WiFi adapter, and have a BlueTooth dongle arriving tomorrow. The bios is from 2014 - so the computer probably wasn’t built earlier than that - and along its life it picked up some dust in the “cup holder” and the case showed the external wear expected of a 5-year-old device in institutional use. A quick look inside didn’t cause me any reason to look any further.I’ve purchased remanufactured electronic components several times - and have usually been happy. Some were touted as having no external blemishes - and they didn’t. Those that were advertised as having some wear-and-tear (as in this one) did affect my purchase decision - but it eliminated surprises.Back on the computer: I immediately hid it under a shelf (it’s running my Amateur Radio station) - so the little blemishes are of zero consequence. So, in summary - It works. It was close to what I wanted to spend. It was received in perfect shape. And it came with Windows 10 Pro.Five Stars!11 Month Update 6/2021:I love this computer. It boots up and shuts down very quickly (around 30 seconds each way?). Mine came with an i5-4590 3.3 (instead of the 4570 3.2) processor. I just this week updated the 2014 BIOS to Dell's A25 5/30/2019 (per Dell's web driver scan/update) which suggests to me that the SMBIOS version 2.7 and the 2019 BIOS will give me another few years of update utility. Dell's online driver support is very satisfying.I bought this as an el-cheapo ($290) replacement for an expensive/aged ($3,400/10 year old) Lenovo laptop (Core2 Duo - CTO T61p ThinkPad), and at less than 10% of the Lenovo's cost, this thing is much better at what little I've thrown at it thus far (except for portability). And it's quiet, runs cool, and my new 510 watt CyberPower SX950U UPS reports that it consumes about 31 watts (41 with the monitor) when it's idling -- and for short bursts of demand, around 91~95 watts (computer and monitor) - so my UPS is more than up to the task of keeping things alive until the generator spools up.Update 7/18/21: I just updated the video driver (per Dell's very-helpful website) - just 'cuz. And I've also added a Phillips 27" 4K monitor -- and it (computer/monitor) works Great (although 27" is not "too big"). Despite the computer's birthday of 2014, it isn't showing to be long-in-the-tooth yet -- which makes me very happy.Oh, and I sent back the CyberPower UPS (due to a weird issue - RFI sensitivity - and less-than-useful tech support) in favor of an APC BN1350M2 (810 watts) UPS -- which I rate Five Star.

For $100 I feel like I stole this computer.
Great computer, no problems at all. Dell computers are built like tanks, this is my third refurb, it will probably outlast a new cheap computer. The only con that I can find is it's not upgradable to Windows 11, but I will cross that bridge when I come to it. Even though I have no problems with the computer, it was not packaged well, the mouse was completely crushed (I was not planning on using the supplied mouse and keyboard).Overall I am more than pleased with this computer, it was refurbed to work and look line new, maybe better with the 500gb solid state hard drive and expanded memory of 16gb. Three video outs, one VGA and two display ports makes setting up dual monitors a breeze. An i5 processor is plenty fast for most applications. No wireless as an old IT professional I still prefer wired ethernet. This computer is a great value for $100 you're not going to go wrong.

Their support is incredible, super, great, and on and on and on!!!
SUPER GREAT!!! I thought there was a problem with the computer I ordered, and I immediately called TekRefurbs who supplied the refurbished unit. It took no more than a minute for a tech to answer (with perfect English). Darnel and I diagnosed the situation over the phone. We solved the problem, but Darnel suggested the symptom could perhaps be a sign of something else that may occur in the future, and TekRefurbs was more than happy to send me a new refurbished computer. Also, I almost immediately got email responses from Darnel when I asked additional questions. WHAT TRULY GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!!I can't say how grateful I am for being able to TRUST a company with such great service.Mike (78 yrs young)
