Chicago Pneumatic CP7125 Pistol Grip Needle Scaler, Red

Solid item, worked as expected as replacement of the original set.

I purchased this product so that I could remove some of the efflorescence that had accumulated on the rock that is framing my pool. The tool worked well to address the various surface planes and divots naturally present within the rock. It would take about five minutes to move, 12 inches for the work I was performing. I also tried to use the scaler on some of the ceramic tile coping and found that it removed the white scale buildup, but I had to be careful not to also remove the thin face on the ceramic tile. I only used this tool in areas where the buildup was significant so that I didn't risk damaging the tile for no real gain. I ran the tool for approximately 20 hours nonstop over a couple of days and had no issues whatsoever with its performance. Of note, make sure that you have a significant air compressor to feed this tool. It was outpacing my air compressor, which was a 50 gallon tank. Sorry, I don't have the specs on the CFM for the air compressor.

I have been using this gun now for a week and so far it has exceeded my expectations and is going strong, the quality is very good and robust. I am very happy with the gun and would highly recommend it to anyone, One thing that does impress me is the low amount of air it uses, I only have a small home handyman compressor which can keep up with the gun comfortably. All in all a great well made and reliable tool, Go for it.

A nice replacement needle set. Buy them with your gun if you plan on doing much needle scaling.

Uses a fraction of the air that my harbor freight scaler does, but is a little less powerful. However at home, I get way more work done because I'm not constantly waiting on the compressor to catch up. So far just been using it to remove rust on my truck prior to painting with POR. I am very happy with it. Definetly worth the money. Also it's much easier to get up into tight areas than the inline style.

Works great! Sips air ,my air compressor had no problem keeping up as I took off all the rust off of my truck frame. Super powerful and uses less air than other models I have used. 5 star 🌟

This need scaler uses alot less air and i can keep going with it till im done and it doesn't damage thinner metals that badly as cheaper ones.

I love this needle gun its got enough power . It comes with a finer set of needles to , if anything it would be better with a bit more stick out length of the needles and a round shape rather than the sloted shape on the nozzle. But highly rate this . Its great
