英語に触れるきっかけとして。
英語に触れるための方法として、漫画は良いものと思います。 私はAmazonプライムで鬼滅の刃のアニメを流しながら、この本を読んでました。この言い回しは英語でこう解釈されるんだなぁと面白い発見もあります。 ただカッコいい技名を英語で書いてしまうとこうなるんだという幻滅もあります。まあこれはこれでネタとして面白いなと思いますが、やはり全訳は難しいですね。

日本漫画も全て大文字で書かれるというのが面白い。 しかしながら全て大文字は読みにくいのがわかる。 日本語版と比較すると、使われる英語が面白い。

懐かしい英語が出てくる
辞書を引きながら読んでますが、昔習ったなあという懐かしい英語が出てきて楽しい。内容は日本語版で分かっているので読み進めやすい。

日本語版と併読すれば 生きた英語が学べます。登場人物の汚い台詞を含めカッコいい台詞 胸に刺さる台詞が英語ではどのように自然な英語になるのかが分かります。

自分の英語の勉強あるいは子供に英語への興味を持たせる目的、それ以上でもそれ以下でもありません
この作品の台詞回しがやはり再現しきれていません。 例えば『妹がもぐらになってしまった』というクスッとする表現は、『妹がモグラみたいになってしまった』と比喩表現になっていて、やっぱりニュアンスがちがいますよね。 『生殺与奪の権を、、』の名台詞も『敵の前でそんな無防備になるんじゃない！』みたいな言い回しです。 ただ、英語自体は簡単な言い回しが多いので、これをきっかけに英語に触れ直したり、お子様に英語への興味を持たせる目的だと良いのではないでしょうか。
