I purchased this receiver hitch mount after reading many reviews of this particular hitch and those of its competitors. One of the differences that stood out between this hitch and its competitors is the weight. This one if much heavier and now that I've received it, yes, its heavy but I also cannot imagine a scenario where this hitch will fail. Don't forget that a heavier gauge steel is going to weigh more so don't waste your money on thinner gauge steel that is more likely to fail. I suppose this hitch could fail if its being used for a purpose its not designed for but for moving my 20' car hauler around, this hitch will be one that gets passed down to my kids ! I did read some reviews complaining about slag and or paint in the threads of the end links or the pins and end links not being in the box but the hitch I received has nice clean welds, all the end links and top pin were in the box and everything fit as it should with all needed hardware necessary to mount this on my tractor. I'm very happy with my purchase !

Heavy duty. But I did have to use a die grinder to remove the excess welding material from around the threads in order for the pins to be installed. I haven’t used it yet, but I’m confident that it will meet my expectations. If I didn’t have a die grinder I would have had to return this hitch. Otherwise, nice product.

It truly is heavy duty. I will use it without hesitation knowing it can handle anything I would pull with my tractor. It's a time saver as it is much easier to hook up than back up the truck and is much more maneuverable too. The handle not included on most others I looked at is useful for picking it up and for hooking up safety chains.

In reading the reviews I do have to admit I had a doubt or two. That said, what arrived was nothing short of impressive to say the least. YES, there was a weld BB I had to take a screwdriver to and pop it out of one sides threads BUT, I got more than what I paid for and you have to like that.

Super easy to install. All the parts needed were in the box. Speedy delivery to me. Useful hint: Spray a little WD40 on the threads before installing. Smooth as glass threads.Love the D ring.I have a small Kubota BX 1870. I use the hitch to move landscape trailers around the yard and the woods.Definitely a wise investment and back saver.

If you look closely at the D ring on that, you'll that it's broke off. A 3/8" link connector handled what this 1/2" ring could not. If they had welded the ring together at the ends before welding it to the structure, it probably could have survived.
