Very interesting, practical, information based on the author's experience.

I have been using this book for awhile since it was purchased months ago. I have been trying to download it again because it simply quit working. I have been trying for a week and it will download at 2% and STOP. I am getting frustrated and I can't find out any info. Be warned...it is a great book but I don't know what happened.

If you are tech challenged or not buy it.

Solid book. One of my favorites.

This is a perfect book for the digital age. It's extensive and accessible on every level. It combines the best of a teaching and reference work. Chuck full of illustrations, photos, flowcharts, and screen-captures, this book sets the standard as a "must have." I love it because it's a problem-solving book without being too technical for the non-professional; like a dictionary would be to a writer.

Mark has done a wonderful job of covering every essential gadget in todays market and dissecting it and putting it back together in a simple step by step approach. It covers almost all new technologies including Windows 8.1.

Originally had the hard copy, gave this away and replaced with the Kindle edition. Lots of useful information that anyone in IT support knows , if you don't know you need a copy of this book. You can find all the information on goggle if you know what to look for

a large tome ideal to learn how your computer works which is always a good thing newbies may find it hard going have to stick with it to at least know what goes on inside your computer
