Hurrying through the lobby of a convention center, rushing from one location to another, thinking about how I was going to set the next shot up, my mind was on anything other than the security of my equipment. The first notice I had that anything was wrong was when I heard the sickening sound a $3000 camera makes when it hits a concrete floor. The second was when I looked at the horrified looks on the faces of the crowd around me who had witnessed it all. I was lucky. Somehow, the camera had survived the impact without a scratch, dent or broken glass. I have no idea how. I love my Peak Design shoulder strap - best one I've ever owned and I'd swear by it - almost. That was the day I learned that the strong, but thin cord loop on one of the anchor connectors would wear over time and eventually break through, allowing that end of the strap to turn loose... And then there was the aggravation of having to jury-rig something to re-attach that end of the strap to the camera for the remainder of my trip. Fortunately, this replacement set is inexpensive and is an actual Peak Design product. They've apparently changed the design slightly since I bought the original strap and the cord loop on the new ones is just a bit thicker, so, presumably will last a little longer. It locks into the socket perfectly. The key takeaway from my experience is that you need to check your anchors regularly and if they show any sign of wear, replace them right away. As little as these cost, buying a set now and keeping a couple in your bag at all times is cheap insurance against the possibility of breaking a lens or camera. Highly recommended. Review: Great Design - Works great, ,makes it easy to attach and remove strap, well designed and manufactured.

Peak Design Anchor Connectors - Design Simplified
If you are the fortunate owner of any of the Peak Design camera straps, or camera wrist straps, then it's only logical that you should equip all your camera bodies (they also work well with binoculars too) with the PD anchor clips! The straps that the major brands of camera manufacturers supply with their cameras are adequate as is BUT, they are not easily removed once attached and are usually imprinted with a garishly colored manufacturers logo! I personally prefer a more low profile approach gear wise. Anchor connectors are super easy to attach, are quite strong and attach to your choice of Peak Design straps. The anchor connectors connect/disconnect easily if you're using a tripod and don't need your strap attached and getting tangled in remote shutter release cable, flash trigger cable, etc.! Well designed and executed! Hope this helps!

Strong and versatile.
Love these. I keep them attached to big lenses and the camera allowing me to shift connection points as needed.

Genuine Peak Anchors, not imitation!!!
Very well made. I trust them to support my prized cameras & lenses. These have the yellow warning layer to let you know when it's time to replace them due to wear. Quick visual inspection gives peace of mind if the warning layer isn't showing. Works perfectly with my Amazon purchased camera strap. 200 lb rating on the anchors.

Brilliant, But Bank-Breaking
Peak Design's Anchor Links seamlessly integrate with their straps, offering a secure and quick-connect system. They work flawlessly, making camera swaps a breeze. However, the price point is exorbitant for what are essentially small, machined metal pieces. Four stars for functionality, one star docked for value.

Strong, Quick release system
These are a must have, I use them on all my cameras. They are easy to change, are very strong and last a long time. I only change them out for my own peace of mind. They make swapping out the camera strap quick and easy. Since I have multiple cameras, it is very convenient for me to use and share my favorite peak design strap with each camera.

The original and the best
While there may be knock off out there that seem the same, these are by far and away the best quality anchors. The materials just seem that much more premium and if you are hanging a $2000 camera and lens combo from it, its piece of mind to have the best IMO.
