Will I receive males and females

yes you will get a mix of males and females ..and now i never need to buy them..i have a ton now :)

Does it need to be a certain temperature in my region to ship these?

I had a shipment of crickets arrive that went through a colder temperature than they should have and after 2-3 days 1/2 of the 1,000 crickets were dead - they just could not recover from the low temps. My answer was to start breeding my own. I've just started and have to say it is interesting and fun. I'm just checking into these roaches so I may try buying and breeding these as well as another little science project. Not really an answer to the exact question, but if you live where you have constant cold temperatures, it is a good alternative.

How long to receive? I ordered 10 days ago and my package tracking says its on the other side of the country despite being "out for delivery".
