What does it taste like?

Well, that is not easy to describe. All I can say is I like it. I've tried multiple other pastas that I didn't like, but this was acceptable from 1st time I tried it. I have since changed to a different brand bc I am sensitive to 'gums' and didn't realize until I'd been eating this for awhile that it had that in it. I should have read the label sooner. I switched to another brand that has only chickpea flour in it. If you can't eat wheat and you miss pasta, I think chickpea pasta is a good substitute. I tried red lentil and didn't like that. Chickpea pasta also has more protein, but...it also has a lot of carb, if you read the label you will notice that. But I don't have any problem w this amount of carbs. Good luck!

I have never even heard this term so I cannot provide a reliable answer. Chickpeas are, also, known as garbanzo beans and are legumes. Good luck.
