I am new to these styles of cameras. Can someone advise the difffence between this Camera and the T5i.

I would recommend the 60D vs the T5i. The T5i would be decent for shooting interviews and the such but the 60D has better color depth, higher dynamic range, lower noise level at low light and a significantly better battery life. As for the T5i, it has video auto focus, a touch screen display, a higher ISO and an HDR feature built in. I see the touch screen as something that I personally wouldn't like. I like my buttons when it comes to a camera. As for the HDR, that's something you can quickly do with the 60D but in an external program. I hope this answers your questions! I have a canon rebel t3i with 2 lens - would I be able to use them on this camera?

I am pretty sure if the lens was compatible with the t3i it will be compatible with the 60d. However I can't be 100% sure that the lenses you have have will fit on the 60d. Thanks
