Yes.. You take light off the magnet, charge it, and then put it back on the magnet.

Do these work behind glass?

my light do not stick under wood shelves even though i clean the area. will your product stick under a shelf?

The area that you are attaching the closet lights to have to be very smooth. I have wood cabinets but the bottoms have been painted with a gloss paint. They adhere to this with no problems. The lights can attach via screws as well. If you look at the top of the lights, there are slots that can take the top of a wood screw (although the screws are not provided).
