I purchased this because of the derma rollers, yes, but also for the case.I have another set that doesn't have a case, just the box it came in, and that is not optimal.The case that comes with this set has a little area you can fill with alcohol so you can "soak" the heads and make sure that they are disinfected. It makes it very convenient.You can imagine my disappointment when I opened my package and the case was cracked. I sent them a message to let them know, and they replaced my set immediately. I got it a few days later, and I love it!I'm using it not only for my face, but also for my "bat wings" because I saw a video on Youtube that showed the difference in that area when someone had been using it for that.I didn't rate this item for "absorbency" because its not relevant. But for ease of use and style, it's a 5 star. And another 10 stars for customer service!

I think its working I will update you with more when I officially see a change but what I want to say is when I use the microneedle and then add the oil I use it can feel the oil absorbing into my scalp is never use to feel that before I used microneedling its a good feeling though.

The instructions for this are not the best in terms of usage, but I think it does what it's supposed to. As for how effective it is, I really don't know yet...With this kind of product, you really have to be careful on how you use it since it would normally be used at a medspa of some sort. It could easily spread bacteria or scratch your skin if the roller needles are not treated properly.Make sure you have adequate rubbing alcohol for sterilization. The package instructs you to put rubbing alcohol on the targeted area, but I wouldn't recommend putting rubbing alcohol on your face...I do like that this product has a few different sized rollers and comes in a case, which is nifty. I'm personally not a frequent user of this, so I kind of wish I didn't waste my money on this product, but if you're the type to use a lot of facial cleansers and serums frequently, this could be for you.

Great little kit for beginners. I only use it once a week. My skin can be temperamental. After 3 months of regular use on my weekly "beauty days", fine lines are visibly reduced, and my overall skin texture is much improved. Considering increasing frequency to twice a week since my skin has had no issues.Notes: I only use in the evenings before bed, and only put on hyaluronic acid on skin after use. I also use an eyebrow growth serum and minoxidil on hairline. I have very fine, blonde hair.

I really love this kit. The plastic case isn't great, but it holds everything together. The lid comes off and there's not clasp to hold it in place so I have to use a hair tie. The needles worked great on my boyfriend's cystic acne scars. Make sure you sanitize properly and roll carefully. You don't want to accidentally go side to side. Would recommend. Cheaper than other kits but I like that you can swap the heads, (more sustainable and space efficient) and that it has a little sanitize basin.

Perfect needle depth for face. It's a bit too small for body, but that's ok. I got it for neck and eye area. There was not a good deal of instruction on how to change the heads out, which is ok, because I just use the face and eye attachments, so I just don't change the heads and use the eye attachment without the handle. Otherwise, good product, good ship time. This would be poor for body use, but I don't need it for that.

I roll this over my face , back and forth , and then , up and down. Do not do this too hard. Then I add a serum to my skin. Vitamin C, or Retinol, or a vitamin E based serum. I try to do this twice a day. During the day, I do this, add the serum and then sun screen or a moisturizer.It is working, because I tend to do my eyes, some lipstick and maybe a bit of blush to brighten things up here in NYC. I have a very light complexion and do not like to get sun on my face. Anyway, I find that I just forget to put on foundation etc...because my skin is beginning to have a dewy glow about it. I only wear foundation , if I am going out somewhere special,. or am during a performance because the bright lights can wash one out. I will put a pic in later on. I highly recommend this product!

I bought this because it also has an ebook that you can download with information on microneedling and microdermabrasion routines. I do recommend spending a fair bit of time reading about what micro needling is and making sure you're going about it the right way, to maximize effectiveness but also to prevent possible damage by doing it incorrectly.I dermarolled for the first time ever a week ago. I have extreme sensitive skin so after using the derma pen I was very red, dry and my face started to peel. This lasted like a day but the next morning my skin looked toned and remarkably smooth. My acne scars seemed faded too. I will definitely continue using this! I am thinking to use the derma roller about every 3 weeks so my skin can heal properly between uses. I will update!
