Does everything I need it to do, good price.
I needed this for setting up a 10G link between two workstations using SFP+ DACs and needed 10G BASE-T for a backhaul, and needed it to be a managed switch for VLAN tagging and jumbo frames. The web configuration interface is honestly confusing compared to other switches I have used and there are some poorly translated bits which don't help (one was that the option for upgrading firmware is labeled "Archive"), but I was ultimately able to figure out what I needed for my network, and the switch certainly isn't lacking in options if you know what to look for. DACs did not work until I configured the SFP+ ports for DACs which I did not expect to need to do, but once I changed that it linked up just fine with my workstation NICs. The BASE-T ports also worked with a 10G link just fine, they hold a stable link with a good quality cable, and they have no trouble with establishing a slower link when required. With proper configuration on the host side, I can easily saturate the 10G link between the hosts, so speed isn't an issue at all. The unit does have a fan, but it appears to have PWM, so you probably won't hear it over anything that warrants using 10G networking. This switch's BASE-T ports will also happily negotiate a 5G link, which isn't listed but is useful if you have any 5GbE hardware. Overall I am satisfied with this switch, it does what a 10G switch needs to do and at a good price point, I would recommend it to anyone with similar requirements to mine.

Great value, solid hardware, interesting configuration
Price is good and hardware seems very solidly built. It does what I wanted - a 10gbe aggregating low power switch with vlan tagging on uplinks. For the first time in configuring many switches I ended up with the web management interface as the command line was a bridge too far - different, not intuitive to me and has a 1000+ page manual that is difficult to navigate. It has many features that I don’t need in this role, but would make a general purpose home network switch. Bottom line, with the web interface I got what I needed, it doesn’t use very much power (<20 W) and seems to work.

Great, affordable 10GB SFP switch with management.
Great 10GB SFP switch, easy to manage, completely customizable based on your port needs. Works great.

Great size, and lots of features.
I purchased the XikeStor L2 Managed 8 Port 10G Ethernet Switch (Model 4*10G RJ45 4*10G SFP+) about a month ago and its been doing just great. I am using it for comms between a pair of hypervisors I have and a pair of Synology NAS devices, one of which has a 10G ethernet port built in, and the other which has (4) 1G ethernet ports. Prior to this, I was using LACP to bond pairs of slower NICs to maximize the backbone of my LAN but now it is so much easier because (other than to support the 4-port NAS) I don't have to bother creating teams anymore, 10G speed is just awesome. I have a second XikeStor L2 switch that has 10-ports, two of which are SFP+ 10G ports and that is how I'm connecting my LAN to the Internet router serving the rest of our house. One thing I noticed that is different between the two models of XikeStor switches is how they each handled being interconnected via a SFP+ DAC cable I purchased. The other XikeStor switch auto-detected that transceiver just fine, but for this 10G switch I found that I had to edit the properties of the switchport connected to the DAC, and tell the switch that it was in fact a DAC before any bits would start flowing. Speaking of, the UI for this switch is easy to figure out. I see that they also have some instructional materials available on YouTube to help you with topics such as VLANs which I appreciate. The switch itself doesn't get overly hot and even though there's a fan in it I can't hear it over the rest of the gear running in my office. So, my impressions of this switch are very favorable and I would definitely recommend you give this switch a try.

Perfect for my home lab setup
As a developer, this switch became the heart of my home lab. Virtual machines, test servers, NAS backups – all hooked up and running smoothly. VLANs and QoS help me organize and prioritize traffic. Wall-mount option is a nice touch too – saved desk space!

Great port compatibility
I’ve got a mixed setup with 10G SFP+ modules, a 2.5G NAS, and a 1G printer. This switch handled all of them with no issues. Plug-and-play, automatically adjusts the speed. Didn’t expect a managed switch to be this user-friendly.
