Perfect fit and quality.
I needed this for a budget rotary polisher I bought that claimed the thread was 5/8. But when I tried changing the backing plate, the thread was slightly smaller. After some research, I found out that it was actually an M14 thread. Thank goodness I found this adapter as I am now able to use a 5 inch and 3 inch backing plate. It fits perfectly and the quality is excellent. Its nice and sturdy.

Good quality that works.
I needed this adaptor for a polisher I bought. It came with a 5/8” polishing base plate but the polisher had a M14 shaft. Go figure !This product was made very well and it allows me to use 5/8” or M14 bases.I highly recommend this adaptor.

Must have for the SPTA Mini Rotary Polisher
With this adapter I was able to attach backing plates from other brands (which are majority 5/8" thread) to my SPTA mini rotary polisher.
