One was bent frame and lens. Left message to company but no response ☹️ Nice for the price but customer service is non existent. Too bad because I wanted to buy more. UPDATE:. FaithSail contacted me to make this right. They replaced the bent light immediately and I was wrong, They really do care about customers and their products. I definitely recommend this light. Way brighter than the dual florescent it replaced, way brighter. Light weight with all fasteners included to align down the middle so no modifications we're needed when install. The second one was put in the garage and is brighter than the four pack of 40 watt bulbs. Connected it into the garage door activated and works perfect. I will order two more soon and the handyman was so impressed he is thinking ordering and recommending to others. Very low profile light for the hallway area but remember, it is brighter than you think. Again, thanks FaithSail for getting back with me and making this right. I blamed your customer service before for not getting back with me only to discover the whole issue was my mistake. I'm sorry and pulled my review and changed to 5 stars. This light and FaithSail customer service is better than good, it is great! Both deserve more than 5 stars and my stupidity gets 2stars. Easy to install the lens cover also. Again, thanks for a quality light fixture, great service, and fast delivery. Those of you thinking of ordering, go for it. These are very bright and easy to install. Got this light to replace the old Fluorescent fixture over my shop bench. I must say, it is much brighter than my older 4' two bulb fluorescent light, about three times brighter. However, I would have rated this product five stars if it wasn't for one fatal flaw which caused the cover to fall and break: The cover is very loose and flimsy and doesn't actually snap in place, the ends simply rest on two thin ledges which cause the cover to slide back and forth. I bumped the light and the cover flew off and landed on the floor breaking a hole in the corner. I hadn't even used it yet and now I have a damaged light which works fine but greatly bothers me. I resorted to using wire ties to keep the cover from moving again and falling damaging it even further. Installation was easy and the fixture is very light. If you have the most basic electrical knowledge it will be no problem to install. Beware however of the design flaw and take extra measures to secure the cover. _________________________ I am updating this review as of 5/16/2019 for the following reasons: Jennifer from Faithsail went out of her way to reach out to me offering a replacement cover, although I had not lodged a complaint. I received my replacement cover today and am really happy I can enjoy the full quality and benefit of the product. The great customer service I received more than makes up for the unfortunate mishap. I will reiterate my recommendation for this product, for the price it makes fluorecent lighting obsolete.

attractive, bright, easy to install

No, this fixture isn't necessarily the best, but it may be the best depending upon your needs; and, I'll tell you an acceptable disappointment. Background. . . I made a light enclosure that rests above five African Violet pots. For the past decade, I inserted a 4' T8, 2-bulb fixture within the enclosure. The instant start ballast has blown twice in that time period including the most recent this week. Trying to find a "series" ballast is a challenge, and the price for a cheap fixture is approx twice the price of the ballast. So, I finally wised up and thought I should just put in an inexpensive integrated LED fixture and this fixture was approx the same price as a new T8 fixture, and I would never have to buy new bulbs again either. The fixture is enclosed within the enclosure, so the appearance was not overly important -- cheap is OK as long as it shines light. This fixture with 4,000 color temp would be fine for home display of the violets. The light output was about 20% less than the output for the two T8 tubes, so I merely adjusted the timer for this new light to stay on 20% longer. Installation was easy because I already has the enclosure hardwired -- swap out the old fixture for the new took 4 screws and redoing the wire nuts -- easy, no skill necessary. Here's the issue which is why I took off one star. . . As at least one other said, the diffuser required some finessing to get into place especially since my application was within an enclosure. I had to stress the diffuser a little (hoping it wouldn't crack) and had to bend outward one of the end caps to get the diffuser in place. Then, it was hard to bend the end cap back into place because there just wasn't enough flex movement; so, the diffuser is just barely held under the end cap -- that's OK because I don't anticipate any bumping that would dislodge the diffuser. I'm OK with how it turned out; nobody knows that issue but me, and it doesn't affect the way the light shines down onto the violets. Also, the metal frame is rather thin/flimsy -- again, is not a problem for me. Yes, I would buy it again. It serves my purpose and was easy to install in my application. The guarantee is 3 years. If I get three years out of it, I'll be happy, and with the life of LED's I'm hoping for 10 years of use. No more fussing with fluorescent bulbs and ballasts.

These replacement shop light fixtures work great, and are very bright! Replaced our previous fluorescent fixtures which had stopped working a while back. Easy to install. Not much room inside the fixture for wires ... an external electrical box is a better option. Fast delivery and packed well in a long cardboard box. Very happy with this purchase ... got both fixtures we needed as a package deal, and the price was very reasonable.

These lights transformed our large garage. It was designed with the lights toward the back wall and the old florescent lights were never bright enough to cast light over the entire space of the garage. The lights were very easy to install and even covered the same base as the old nasty open florescent light fixtures. The daylight brightness is great for a garage or basement. There was no noise or flickering. These lights were a great value of the money. They were about the same price as in the stores, but were delivered to my door and saved me a lot of trouble.

Put these lights up in my garage 5 years ago, replacing a pair of 60w incandescents. Lightweight, easy to install, looked great, and very bright. A huge improvement to what I had. I noticed a few months ago that the diffusers were coming apart, and today one of the diffusers let go completely falling to the concrete floor and shattering. Not exactly the outcome I had hoped for when I made the purchase, since now both of them need to be replaced. These were 5 star lights for 5 years. Now, not so much.
