I use this turned out to be the best hand held magnifying glass I've ever owned. The light ring is LED and must sip power as the batteries I installed to begin with are still supplying power. And I use this thing a lot.

This was purchased for my elderly mother. She struggles with reading and we have purchased several magnifying glasses, but this is certainly the best. It is light in weight and very bright, making it very easy for her to use. To day she started a puzzle, the first time in a long time.
