Not for use with pressure lines. If they are leaking your may have installed them wrong or not tight. If leaking from the metal pin then try cleaning it. These are for water not dirt. Also not to be mounted horizontally pin down had to be done.

I installed these and everyone one of them leak constantly. Huge waste of money and time. I don’t recommend this product. After my initial installation I pulled all of them apart and wrapped teflon tape to all the threads and tried them again no change everyone one of them still leaked. Absolutely terrible product don’t waste your money and time on these. Junk!

Leaky. The chickens have a way of unscrewing them, and losing the bearing pins. I recommend proactively using a couple drops of gorilla glue on the threads to prevent it from coming apart. But, you're still left with the leaks. Overall, they're not too bad.

I have 10 five week old chickens so they went through water quickly. I bought a five gallon bucket, drilled some holes in the bottom, and screwed these in. It was the easiest thing to do and was so much cheaper than buying a pre-made waterer. The chickens picked up on how to drink from it instantly. No issues at all. I love it! They have no way to get the water dirty anymore since the bucket has a lid on top and the bucket hangs from the ceiling of the coop.

I used these on the bottom a 5 gallon bucket. Pain in the butt to get in, but once I did, no leaks! I predrilled with a small drill bit, then used a 5/16 bit to drill the holes. Hardest part was getting them to thread. I ended up using a vice grip crescent wrench to hold them so I could get enough downward pressure as I turned them. Our 8 week old pullets figured out how to use them in 2 seconds flat and seem to really enjoy them, ignoring an open water dish right next to it.

The chicken nipple waterer tips work great. My chickens give them a workout each and every day, and they haven't failed me yet. They are easy to install and their performance can't be beat. They are easy to clean and a great value for money. This product won't disappoint you or your animals! They only allow so much water to go through at a time, so their water resistance is perfect for my chickens.

I got these to make a bucket waterer for my chickens. Great value for the price. They hold the water in and my chickens have no issue using them.
