Amazon Essentials Women's Poplin Pajama Pants with Drawstring, Elastic Waist

I absolutely love these super soft cotton Poplin pajama pants. I am usually a medium and I sized up to a large and I’m glad I did. The fit is perfect for pajamas – roomie (but a little bit long on me, I’m 5‘3“). The fabric material is so soft and it’s not super thick but also not super thin – just right for cotton pajamas. They have a handy drawstring and the quality is excellent. I got these at a steal of a price and they are so worth it!

Love these PJ pants! The cotton fabric on these pants is thin, but still super soft and cozy - warm and breatheable. Washes well and I did not detect any shrinkage. Fit to size. No pockets, but I think that’s what makes them relatively affordable. Generally great purchase.

They are baggy and high waisted great to wear if you need something loose got surgery, c-section, pregnant or postpartum as these fit a bit big I would size down for it to not be high waisted. They are comfy and very stylish and cute. Great to wear around the house when you have guest or family members staying over the house for a more put together look just to lounge and sleep in they are so cute to be called pajama pants. I paired mine with a 100% cotton old navy cropped t-shirt I bought at least 8 pairs the fabric is not like a jersey cotton and I wish these were 100% cotton from my experience 100% cotton poplin cotton can be loud and stiffy like so the 3% spandex makes it feel more softer. They have cute prints don’t wait to buy it some do get sold out!

These are so comfy and fun! It’s nice to have something to lift your spirits in winter. I just love the little cactuses. It’s silly, I know, but why not? They seem well built. The fabric feels like a comfortable, mid-weight cotton. I like my pj’s a little loose, so at 5’1”, 145 lbs, the loose fit of the medium is perfect. They’re a tiny bit long for my height, but I just turn them up a bit, and they’re fine. I liked them so much, I ordered a second pattern. :) What a great deal.

Edit- April 21, 2020; I’ve had these for almost a year now and I’m baffled by those who say these have dramatic shrinkage. I wash these in cold water and air dry when I can, but my husband often does laundry and he tosses them in the dryer on high heat with everything else. Yet these still fit me despite the fact that I’ve gained 20 pounds (corticosteroids suck). They still barely graze the ground, and are still baggy in the legs. However they are more snug around my stomach and butt than I’d prefer, but that’s due to me growing, not the pants shrinking. Original review; I ordered a medium, because I’m 5’4 and my ever fluctuating weight is currently 140. You can see by the pictures that they are fairly baggy on me. The length just grazed the ground when I wore sneakers. From the reviews, I knew that there was a chance that medium could be too big, but knowing that baggy is more forgiving than tight, I took the chance. But I was conservative with my purchase and just ordered one pair so I could gauge the size. (I want ALL of the cute prints!) I’ve been looking for cute print poplin pants for a long time, and I was overjoyed when I discovered that Amazon carried them at such an affordable price! The Amazon Essentials Poplin Pajama Pants are the cutest and most affordable ones on Amazon! They are very reminiscent (style wise, they are close to identical!) to my favorite Old Navy poplin pajama pants. These are my new favorites. The prints are gorgeous! I can’t wait to buy more! The only way they could be more perfect is for them to have pockets. But that’s not enough of a deficit for me to deduct a star, as I seriously adore these! I discovered a long time ago that poplin pants are just as cool and cute as linen pants, but usually much more affordable. The trick is to find cute prints as opposed to stripes or plaids which will always look like pajamas no matter what you wear them with. These pants are perfect for summer! Especially on days when you will be transitioning a lot from outdoors to inside where it’s cool and air conditioned, or knowing you will be out until evening, but won’t have a chance to change into something warmer. The fabric is smooth and cool so you don’t get too hot, but covers your legs completely so you don’t get too cool. I packed mine to take to a family camp in mid June in Oregon when the weather ranges from low 60s to high 80s. They were perfect! I couldn’t have been more comfortable! They even held up beautifully when my husband and I went on a hike and climbed down a cliff to get to a creek. And one last thing I have to get off my chest... It kills me when I read the reviews complaining that these are “not a soft cotton”. Obviously these people didn’t have any idea what poplin was before they ordered them. Lack of knowledge on the customer’s part is not a defect of the product and leaving a negative review as a result shows that they are irresponsible consumers. If you’re looking for poplin pants, look no further! Buy these, you won’t regret it.

I ordered a medium but I either received an extra large (maybe marked incorrectly?), or the sizes run extra roomy! I like the feel of the material, although a bit thin. It should soften with each wash.

These pajama bottoms are almost perfect - they just need pockets. Otherwise, I am very happy with this purchase. Great price for a great product. They fit great, are lightweight and breathable for summer, comfortable and hold up after multiple washes. I don’t put them in the dryer, which is not ideal for pajamas, but they are 100% cotton and sized perfectly, so I want to keep them that way. I highly recommend them and I plan to buy more.

Wash and dry very well. Comfortable. Roomy fit, nice.

Ver y comfortable, material is light and airy, v good fit, long in leg and true to size, even on the larger side. Washes well. Highly recommend.
