Good product, good deal (3 leashes for $12 plus a carabiner).
I like these leashes and would recommend them. They measure 38 inches, unattached, at rest and 59 inches pulled to the max, unattached, end to end. They have loops built into each end to attach to your kayak and to your fishing rod, paddle etc., one end has a slightly larger loop. The ones that I bought a year and a half ago were green and the ones that I just got are black. I connect these to the milk crate behind my seat in my kayak (see picture) and these are long enough for me to reach behind me, grab a rod, bring it up to me in the seat and undo the leach from the rod and fish with it. When I’m changing rods or done fishing for the day, I connect the leash again. When they are not in use, I roll them up and stuff them in the rod tube as in the picture. I don’t fish with a leash on my rods because sometimes I’m sitting, sometimes I’m standing and I swap between my right and left hand to cast so keeping the rod tethered doesn’t work very well. Even if all of that wasn’t the case, I still prefer to cast without it being tethered. I know that I’m taking a chance at losing a rod if I flip but I’ll take that chance. When I’m fishing moving water I stay seated and I do fish with my rod tethered but I fish in still water 80% of the time.

Work well and last
These leashes keep the paddles, rods, and gear tied to the yak- and they work! The cute, more expensive colorful ones did not. These are a good length, good strength, and surviving saltwater so far. Just rinse after use and wash with dawn every few weeks. Easy to use and worth every penny.

Not great not bad
Its ok, I probably would have chosen something a bit more substantial. I'm using them to secure Hobie pedal drives and seats on a tandem island. I hope they hold on to them if I dump it and they come loose. For the use I chose I would have been a bit happier with a larger strap, but they should work great for rods and paddles which might be where they end up.

Great quality, doesn't loose shape, will use a long time
Update: 2 summer of extensive use on lakes, reservoirs and rivers they still have perfect shape and elasticity. I use them for attaching kayaks together, keeping paddles connected to my kids kayaks especially on the faster rivers, and dragging dry bags along behind our kayaks. Probably my favorite kayaking accessory we purchased. These were amazing. I used them to keep paddles attached to my little kids kayaks and also to tow my children around when they were tired on their kayaks. We used them to lash my kids to our adult kayaks through small Rapids down the Colorado River. With a caribiner attached to both ends my 4 year old was able to attach and detach himself with no problems after the first try. They went back to their original shape even after lots of towing this summer. I am so glad I purchased these and I know they will last us a long time. I purchased another bag of caribiners so I had more to connect to things, but the ones that came with this set are probably my favorites.

Great leash
Saved a pole my first trip out! I' like teh length, not so long that they drag or get in the way and tangle easily but long enough you're not stretching them with every movement. The stretch is a great feature though, takes the shock out when you drop something or just need a little extra reach from where it's attached. I wish it came with 3 carabiners instead of just the one, you loop the strap on your rod/paddle but the other end then can;t loop through itself so you have to use a clip to attach it to itself after looping around something or to clip it to you. I don;t want everything coming back to a single point on me so I had to pick up a few extra carabiners to get more comfortable attachment points on everything but overall I like these.

Light but Effective
I've gotten numerous uses from a couple sets of these I bought for my Oru Kayaks and it saved me from losing expensive critical gear when unintentionally flipping the boat. They even work well for girth hitching things that don't have attachment loops like paddles. The light weight beaner works fine for attaching to the boat. My only complaint was that 3 leashes wasn't quite enough for me so I bought a couple more sets so everything I carry can be lashed to the boat in the event of a rollover. Although light, I've even used them to tow another kayaker so they are reasonably strong.

Lanyards
I thought this would be three separate lanyards with Three separate clips it’s one clip on three lanyards. They are not bad. I just use separate clips for the other two. They could be a little bit longer, but they work for what I need them to do on my kayak.

Nice and light
Nice length and I really like how they lock tightly onto the rod handle and are compact - no interference with casting.
