Superbox Gorilla on Wheels Storage Trunk - Black, Size 148

This box is excellent. I use it for lugging Airsoft kit around and it's sturdy, hardwearing and easy to clean. Its not military strength but will easily cope with most storage requirements.

A useful trunk for sending my son off to Uni. Can double as a coffee table covered with a cloth (or not if you're going for the industrial look). The wheels mean it can be managed by one person even if full of art books! Anything bigger would be hard to handle and not convenient to have around. The padlock loop is handy if you need it too.

Billed as a well designed, strong, durable box. It is flimsy meaning aligning the cheap thin and tinny locks is difficult once loaded up. Mine has already cracked due to another heavy box being place heavily on top - only about 15kg so it should have coped easily but it can't.I'd strongly recommend looking elsewhere as this is no better from a strength perspective than the versions you can purchase in a general/bric-a-brac store - and it is far too expensive for the quality received.

Whilst the box seems large in size the quality is poor, I received mine today and I must admit I am very disappointed, the lid does not fit correctly, the hinge bar/pin at the rear was hanging out, which defeats the object of being able to padlock the lid if you can slide out the hinge pin as you can open it that way, one of the wheels hardly turns at all and scrapes along rather than rolling. Slightly nervous about putting things in it as the structure of the box is not as strong as suggested.

This box is huge, it was perfectly sized for my intended use, which was to store all my power tools in one place to keep them dry and secure. So for that, it was great. The box is being stored outside in a shed that suffers from condensation in the winter, I was a bit worried this would form inside the box as well (does with my garden boxes) but after 2 weeks I went to look at it, outside was covered in water but inside was nice and dry. GREAT!However, I noticed the buckles have started to rust. This box is advertised as made for use by the US Military and postal services so I did expect it to be more All Weather than its proving to be. I paid £50 at amazon for this and I really didnt expect the buckles to rust so easily, for that Im very disappointed with it. I've only had it about 2 weeks.So in short, if you need a big, strong, lockable, dry box, with wheels, its great. If you need to store it anywhere that might get condensation, be aware the buckles will rust.

It is a verx good solution, for me.I use it in my Jeep Wrangler, to put inside all material that I use when I go to take Picture/Photography.We can carry it very easy, with rolls. The only one problem, a small one, is that when it is placed, horizontally, we are on the rolls and it is not a good stability, in a car. We have to find a type of carpet, a little less than 1", that take stabile the box.Very positive feedback.

I already had two of these storage boxes and they are still in tact after two trips overseas. They are hard wearing and you can get a fair amount of items in them. The wheels are handy, I would advise against trying to cary the box by the handle on the front as my friends snapped due to the weight. In my opinion the best way to move them is via the wheels using the handle at the end.

Much easier to handle than my grip bag, plenty of space for all my kit. Great buy, thank you.
