Calcium PLUS Bariatric Calcium Citrate Tablets, 180 ct.

I like this calcium supplement - I only have to take two tablets per day. Many brands want you to take as much as 6 per day. Only recently discovered vitamins and minerals designed for bariatric use. I find them easy to swallow, no chalky taste going down. I'm a convert!

I had gastric bypass in December 2018, and I was having a hard time finding a reasonable priced calcium citrate that wasn't chewable, liquid, or overly priced. This is for life, and you need good vitamins. I didn't take calcium until I ordered this in April. I was desperate to find something because my hair was falling out. Within 1 month I noticed less hair loss quantity. I'm now 60 days taking it and hair loss is back to normal pre-surgery amounts. There's no taste, no smell, and fairly easy to take. I say fairly because you have to take 6 pills per day to get the complete dosage. The bottle says 3 tablets twice per day. I have to take these with no food because I think they dissolve and swell quickly and makes me feel full after taking them. Do not dry swallow! I choked while driving because I didn't have enough water. That was fun! I still take an extra vitamin D3 only because I was having severe bone pain in my face too. Just remember to have at least 2 hours between calcium and iron guys! This company is worth it!

Love this brand and pills, but I ordered regular tablets by accident instead of chewable which I need.

Been purchasing this same brand for years. Bariatric surgery 12 years ago. Blood work is excellent.

This is the brand my surgeon recommends. But my calcium and other vitamins are always low. I continue to take them because I don’t know what is a better option ?!
