Great product
Great product! Holds up well. I have had this on my pergola for quite some time, and it still looks good and has no signs of wear. It works very well at keeping that area cooler.

Awesome material!
I made a shade for our pergola with this material. It is perfect, easy to sew with & high quality for a fraction of the cost of a pre-made shade! It has been through many rain showers, wind & sun - holds up beautifully! I love that the water does not collect on top & that wind can blow through. Provides much needed shade on our patio. I made channels on each end for weighted rods & sewed snap straps so we can pull the sides to any height.

Great shade
I've been looking for a shade for the outside patio for my parents restaurant and I came across this. It took a while to get it up but now that it is up I feel that it's working well. It is not waterproof, if it rains it will come through without caving in and it provides the perfect amount of shade. Getting it fastened was a little difficult, but I ended up getting EZ clips (not on Amazon) and it ended up working really well in getting it attached to the wooden frame. I can't say how well it'll hold up with Gale force winds but with a moderately windy day the shade holds up. I wish there was more color options available but the brown ended up being just fine. Will update after the summer is over with how it holds up. ***UPDATE 8/6: I'll preface this by saying I live on cape cod where the weather is usually mild. That being said, last week we had the freak tornado and this shade did not hold up. It came off with the high winds and while on the whole it is intact and in good condition, when I was putting it up again I did see there were a couple holes in the fabric where some wood fragments impaled on it, and one edge (maybe 1 foot in length) has begun to unravel . Overall the damage is minimal and we are not an area that gets tornadoes so this was unusual activity, but I can tell these damages, while small for now, will probably grow bigger and become an issue if not this year than in subsequent years of use. Something to keep in mind if purchasing and you live on an area that does experience high wind events.

Bad package
The product was great but the packaging was not worth a damn they they roll it up and wrinkled it so bad the wrinkles won’t come out all about the money I guess

Excellent product for the price.
Pergola covering: I stretched the fabric slightly and stapled with 1/2” or 5/8” staples on the ends of the 2x6s all the way around. Fabric was too wide on2 sides so I folded it in about 3 times ( approx 4” folds) and put 2 staples on those areas. And did it neatly, it looks great.- Installed April 2020, no visible tears or rips. Rain runs off for the most part. Small drips here and there.

Lightweight easy to use and performs great
I bought this for my green house and I can definitely feel the difference in temperature between the half that I covered with this shade cloth versus the exposed half of my greenhouse. I didn't buy any special tape or securing devices with it, but I was still able to use some string and cut some holes on the edges of the cloth so I could secure it in place. I literally got the package and just slapped it on my greenhouse and I am very satisfied with it's performance. it still allows sun light through yet it prevents overheating inside the greenhouse, it's lightweight material and it arrived as expected and quick too. I highly recommend it others who enjoy gardening but are worried the sun is hurting their plants. Also looked for something similar in my local stores but found nothing close to shade cloth even online their prices were slightly higher.

Seems durable...
The biggest issue I have is that I purchased the 8'x50' but it came as 2 x 8'x23'. Arizona is currently going through 110-115 degree temps so with Amazon's longer shipping times I wasn't going to send it back and hope the order would be correct. It can be stretched pretty tight without unraveling and does provide shade which is why I did give it 3 stars. Minus 1 star because I didn't get the size I ordered and minus another star because I don't know how it will hold up yet in the Arizona heat. We'll see and I'll update if needed.

Makes my pergola — and my electric bill — bearable
I live somewhere that typically gets over 100 degrees fairly regularly during the summer, so I wanted something to put on my pergola that shades several large southwest-facing windows in my house. This shadecloth is sturdy, looks nice (I ordered the brown) and makes a HUGE temperature difference on hot afternoons. It hasn’t been up long enough to judge UV resistance, but it took a fair amount of stretching and pulling without tearing, and has handled some pretty high (~40-50 mph) wind gusts with aplomb. Even if it only lasts one summer, the difference in my electric bill will pay to replace it.
