Q: are these bobs red mill aluminum free?

From everything I have read, all baking SODA is aluminum free. But baking POWDER is not always aluminum free.

Q: So, how do I know it's Aluminum free when the package doees not say?

Baking soda does not contain aluminum, but baking powder does.

Q: Is this chemically made or from the ground?

Bob's Red Mill gets its baking soda from the Natural Soda company - this company mines baking soda deposits in Colorado in the form of a substance called nahcolite. Arm & Hammer mines trona from deposits in Wisconsin, and bubbles carbon dioxide through it to produce baking soda.J
