Caterpillar Men's 2nd Shift 6" Steel Toe Boot

I've had these boots for about three weeks now and I am a little disappointed and a little surprised. After reading reviews I kinda expected them to be tougher boot but after noting what's being worn down I'm not as happy. The boot is mostly thin except around the heel and steel toe. I wear these boots everyday and I abuse them a bit so they are getting worked. The part right under the laces is starting to get pretty worn out already. They don't fit as good around my heel then they do my feet, but to fix that I just tried to tie them as tight as possible and that seems to work. Other then that they fit nicely on my feet with a decent padding, and surprisingly aren't as heavy as expected. I did order them a little oversized but not by much. Overall they are a little pricey for the quality but better then any cheap boot I've worn.

Firstly, I opted to indicate that the boots are a little on the small size of the indicated size , I chose a 12 EE, because I have a wide toe span, my toes are not getting crunched in these boots, but it would be nice to have more wiggle room. As for the Boots, I downgraded from a $200 Dollar pair of Corcoran full length boots to these on a whim. I was immediately impressed by the level of comfort, I am on my feet all day, on hardened concrete, and after 12 hours it can really compress your ankles and knees. Well, after a week of wearing them, I have to say that these are a super pair of boots, and I am very glad to have found them on Amazon.com !

I have been using Cat boots for years, usually the Silverton model. Was unable to find them in my size this year so I picked up this model, boots were sized perfect and feel great
