My Yellow Collar mini macaw loves this toy

I bought this for my quaker parrot. He likes to shred papper and preen so I thought this would be a great toy for him to tug upon.First, the small size is that.. very small. He cant sit on it like a perch. If you want it to be a perch also, buy the bigger size.I put this in his cage and he went over to check it out right away, pulled on it once, then left it alone. I have not seen him playwith it since. Maybe my bird is not normal! HOWEVER, that is no reason to give it a low star rating. I gave it a 4 star because it is made very well and the colors great.I would recommend this to anyone with a bird that likes to play!

I bought the large size, I have read the smaller size might be too small, I don't own a small one. But I do think the large would be prefect for a small cockatoo on down. Time will tell to see how long it lasts, but birds do like to chew, so im pretty sure more will be coming my way. I have no problems with the fit and finish of this perch / toy.Im sure the large would work for my cockatiels too

Whenever I order new bird toys, it's a toss-up whether my two cockatiels like them or not. This one was a winner. The ring is plenty big enough for one to perch in - two if you have birds with small personal space bubbles. The model I received is a little more pastel colored than the one pictured: pink rope instead of red, purple instead of maroon. The interior ring is nice and sturdy and the ropes are packed so tightly that there is no issues with them rotating or separating on the bar.

This is a great item to add to the cage if your bird likes to chew soft materials. Perfect for my parrotlet.

My parrot LOVES this toy. This is the perfect type of toy for her because if she's bored she'll pick her down feathers, but with toys like this, she will pick the toy instead. This also makes a great parrot swing. She likes to pull the pieces down and dip them in her water dish, so we've had blue water, green water, yellow water, and red water, which freaked me out at first. I'd sooner change her water more often than pick up her feathers, so this one is a hit.

Smaller than shown, smaller than descriptions and not really suitable for a blue and gold macaw as photo shown, reviews describe and highlightMisleading, and if an extra large model was needed l should have been told. Dimensions aren’t even correct. If the metal ring was 12” it would have been fine. It wasn’t.

This toy lasted a long time with my African Grey who loves string toys.
