Got rid of the weeds!
Got rid of the weeds, which I'd let grow so they'd get a good coating from the watering can. Clear instructions and good coverage. The grass shows no damage and is unfortunately growing thicker and faster because it's not competing for water or sunlight I guess, means more mowing!! I need to buy a goat.

This is the way to do it
This is the replacement for what used to be the best product - Verdone. It seems that the Weedol people bought them out. It is much better than "weed & feed". The instructions say that you need to leave it on for 3 days before mowing but it actually takes more than a week to get down to the roots. I scarified the lawn after and all the weeds came up. This is definitely the way to go. Without doing so it might eventually have killed the weeds but they would have stayed in the ground choking the grass and threatening to recover. I ended up with a weed free lawn and had no problems with blackness or damage to the grass, despite its appalling original condition. I suspect those who had problems were doing something wrong. It isn't hard, just make sure you get a decent rose for your watering can and mix the right quantity (30ml for 10 litres). You have to be careful using the cuttings as mulch. It would be a shame to end up with a weed-free lawn and flower beds full of dead plants. They say leave the first set of cuttings on the lawn and keep the next 3 sets for 9 months before using as mulch. I usually leave compost longer than this so just remembering to use it last will probably give a good margin of safety.

Using this product to kill off clover in the lawn.
This year we have had an infestation of clover, it has taken over sections of the grass. In the badly effected areas where the branches criss crossed over each other 5 deep and the tap root was 7 inches long it had killed the grass I have had to dig it out in patches, prepare the surface and re-seed. In other areas the grass is still dominant so wanted to reduce the clovers hold on the lawn and stop it spreading without digging out. I didn't know what to expect from a product that kills clover yet leaves the grass unharmed, I was skeptical. I followed the instructions and used a watering can to apply, I've used it on a stretch of lawn initially to test it and it seems to be working. Do not expect to see results fast, this is a slow acting product, 6 days following application the treated clover has started to turn yellow. The grass seems unaffected, so far so good. If it kills the clover off completely I will be happy, I'll post again in another few weeks to update.

My lawn looks the best it has for years
At last I have found a lawn weedkiller which appears to do the job. It may seem a bit expensive but you do get a lot of coverage for your money. My lawn looks the best it has for years. No more dandelions, clover and lots of other weeds whose names I don't know. Highly recommended!

Very impressed!
As the title says, very impressed! I really am no garden expert but I have tried a number of weedkillers over the years and this is the most effective I've found so far that does the job without harming my lawn (unlike another make I tried - eek!). For an in depth, knowledgeable review by gardeners I suggest reading from someone who knows what they are on about but as far as I'm concerned this is my favourite weedkiller yet. Good luck all.

Expensive imo but works for the most part.
Very very easy to use, and you get such a lot of uses from one pack.I did however use slightly more than they said - mainly because iirc the EU reduced the strength of it or something I had read? Anyway, another reason was because we have more weeds than grass in our lawn.I sprayed it on making sure to soak weeds. Most of the weeds died, dandelion leafs shriveled up and they slowly died (although some still managed to grow flowers and half seed) but still.Anyway most of the lawn is clear, and it sort of works, doesn't kill moss though not sure if it was supposed to or not, but it didn't do jack to it.Not sure why youve gotta wait so long between applications but yeah, will need to go again with it at some point.

Decent stuff, does the job.
Product has undergone a recent change of name - hope the formula is the same. There aren't many products like this ... a concentrate lawn weedkiller, as opposed to the Ready to Use type - and not too many places sell it. The Amazon price I paid was the best I could find. The stuff itself does work although it takes a while for the weeds to disappear - and it needs to be done a couple of times a year too.

As good as any other lawn weedkiller
Very pleased. Speedy delivery, well packed and a good price. The product itself is as good as any other on the market but I'm dubious as to whether all the weeds are killed to the roots, especially the dandelions. They look dead but return with great vigour in the autumn and the following spring.
