And unsurprisingly, he has immediately become my Outtatowner main male character! Beneath the hard exterior and the troubled past, there is the biggest heart and a world of internalised pain. It's no wonder it took adorable twins and a feisty, sassy strong ray of sunshine to see past his walls and into his heart! Sloane is one of those strong and yet human and very relatable female lead that you can't help falling in love with! Oh and Bax! Sweet old Bax! And Bug! And Duke, Sylvie, Lee, Whip, Emily! Being the third book into the Kings and with all information from the Sullivans', the overarching storyline is now more intense and definitely coming to a head. Russell King is... Yeah he's a definite villain and I can't wait to see him fall, despite his timely machinations in this book! I've loved the little hints at Royal's coming story (because, yes of course Royal is next on my interest list!) and how they indicate that things will be turning a corner in his book! Review: Going into this, I didn’t know how much I was going to love this one. I should have known because I was immediately hooked by the chemistry, banter and teasing between Sloane and Abel. The way that it continued to build and grow was absolutely fantastic. The connection between them was so real, so beautiful, and so emotional how could I not love them together? It was the bouts of emotional intimacy and affection just sold me of them as a couple. I loved them together so much. On top of that, the way that Abel fell in love with those children and became a dad made me swoon so hard. I was loving and get feels from Abel already, but stuff with the children really took the cake. He was a perfect hero in my opinion. This one got me really emotional. I cried multiple times for multiple different reasons. It was a lot. I never thought I would have been sucker punched that many times throughout the story, but that indicated just how connected I became to the Sloane and Abel romance as well as all the characters involved. It was just done in the best way possible. I really loved the plot beyond the romance. Though it did complications to the romance, it was more because there was a suspense and danger element to it. It kept even more invested in the story, and the King family.

Oh gosh, the Kings are just getting amazing as the series moves up. I mean hello Abel King!! If you have read the Sullivan family series you know, you just gotta not like the kings i mean come on they were just mean and spiteful. But how wrong were we proven. First with Whip and now with Abel. The oldest of the king siblings and the most broody and who has a perpetual RBF. And who is the one who shakes him to the core, none other than his employee Sloane Robinson. Sloane Robinson who is this eternal sunshine and just a happy person to be around , has not had life easily of late and in a turn off things enters a marriage of convenience with our grumpy. Who is a single mom to the cutest set of twin kids! My heart is all out for these sweethearts Ben and Tillie! This couple has that quiet love from one side and the chatter and spunky force from the other. And together they fit so perfectly. And I'm falling more and more in love with the king family. Of course minus that one you know who. Gah I loved everything about this book and can't wait for more!!

This Is the First book I read by this author and It was really good!! I enjoyed the MCs, loved the fluffy cute moments as family and there was the right amound of spiciness that Is a plus 😉. I liked the way the story touched the theme of an ex-convict finds is life after the prison. I think everybody would like this book. For me you can read It as a standalone like me but maybe you have a better experience after read book One of this series and the Sullivan series (I'm gonna read them now 😂)

Well written and developed story. Really appreciated the slow romance buildup. The story was sweet, not too much drama. Able was such a well written character, his story really touched my heart and made me sweet on him
