So simple and absolutely beautiful only took one coat was easy to apply once I used a foam brush. Had originally used a normal one and looked horrible had to sand and redo it. Love it so much I’m now going to redo all wood in my house with it. It does smell though but not bad at all. Wasn’t to concerned about the babies being around. Stuff in the past I used was awful. Even ppl living above me complained of the strong smell. Only reason I’ve not done my floors but now I can. I highly recommend using this saman stain. It’s amazing and even someone like my self with zero experience could get a beautiful outcome shows how great it is. Review: These old 50s floors were SO bad. I didn’t have time or $ to rent a proper sander and stripper, so I used my mouse sander and did a quick once over, TSP’d it, and 2 coats and it was good enough, 3 would have been perfect, but limited time, and we are replacing floors in a few months, just to look decent and keep them sealed and safe in the kids’ rooms until then. Chipped a bit while moving, but they were only 2 days freshly done, my fault. But they look great for now! Also did my veneer ugly table- matches my home now beautifully.

Love the Coffee color. It was easy to apply to the pine window sill and framing in my bedroom Reno project. Easy brush clean up with soap and warm water. I will be using the rest on the new Farmhouse style bed I will be building in the Spring.

One coat? No. Love the product, color, odor, easy to use. The finish is really mat, so not easy to clean. I think I will add a top coat on it to sceal it more.
