ssdも壊れますよ 五年位での交換をお勧めします、二百台は使いましたが、動作が不安定になったら、crytaldisk等で、80%は使える目安です、hddと違って、突然、壊れ復旧はかなり厳しいので、早めの交換をお勧めします

Drive formatted with no problem and has been working all afternoon having files copied to it, for about 5 hours straight now without a single hiccup. Excellent. Speed seems as good as my Crucial MX500 SSD's so very pleased with this drive. Quite a good saving from the other SSD's so at least at the moment I'm glad I took the chance on this brand. I will add another down the track a bit which will be over $100 saved compared to the other brands or more.

Update: I RMAed this and Silicon Power came through! I sent it back as it was under warranty and they replaced it despite the fact that it cost $90.97 in March 2025 and now cost $219.97!!! Props to Silicon Power!!! The thing was hardly used and now it’s dead. Computer recognizes it , but hangs when trying to use it. Chkdsk hangs and cannot complete. Tried this on multiple computers and through a sata to usb dongle. I went to the homepage and the model number of this particular device does not show up when searching the warranty status, so out of luck. DO NOT BUY.

I've bought a bunch of Silicon Power SSDs and SD cards over the years. All of them previously were fine, so I got two of these as mirrored boot drives for a home storage server. They worked flawlessly for over a year, and then one day after a reboot one of them went read-only. Unfortunate, yes, but that is why you have a mirrored array instead of just one drive for a server. These things happen. I filed an RMA request and included the relevant information. SP had me ship the drive to them and just a few days after it arrived, they approved a replacement which I received today new in box. I really appreciate their supporting their product, and wanted to use this review to encourage them to keep it up. Since, again, I got these to be boot-only drives for a server I don't really have any thoughts on their performance - but they are nice slim 7mm drives which were as easy to install as a SATA drive can be. Excellent utility drive for something like a home server, HTPC, emulation box, or the like.
