I got this for my 11-year-old niece. I was pleased with the overall design; it allows for making more sturdy and nice-looking jewelry than many of the other gimmicky children's kits. I will give one warning and one criticism, however:The warning: This kit is basically a loom that allows the girl to weave strings together with beads. It comes with clear instructions how to make bracelets or anklets, BUT it was confusing for my niece who has little experience with threadwork. I had to give her a lot of help. Girls who have significant experience with knitting, crocheting, macrame, and/or sewing would be able to do it themselves, but otherwise, they'll need help from someone who knows how to look at a jumble of string and know which loop to pull to get them to fit together right.The criticism: The foam loom is problematically flimsy; it would be much better to make it out of wood or a sturdy plastic so it doesn't move as we work with it.

Cute but some of the beads are hard to get on the string and my daughter who is 9 became frustrated after several tries and eventually gave up.

I purchased this for my niece and she loved it. It's a great way to develop a child's motor skills and craftmanship abilities. The instructions are clear but its admittedly somewhat difficult to start the bracelet off. I dont think a toddler can do this without difficulty or adult assistance. Still a great gift and a good way to pass the time for the kiddos..

These bracelets were ok. Very tedious and requires a lot of patience. I would recommend this for a teenager before anyone younger. Gifted to my 10yr old niece and she lost interest after a few failed attempts. I helped her with it and I even had trouble getting the string to stay tight on the stand and the sewing part was confusing and not easy for a child.

Arrived as promised and on time. Great price.

Product is as described. My 8 yr old had a hard time figuring out the exact way to make the bracelet. The holder to make it is flimsy and ended up breaking on us, which makes it useless to continue using.So we are using the pieces in other ways to make bracelets. Fair size kit as well and the rest of the materials are good.

Proved to be a cool gift to teen aged girls ...

A little tricky for my daughter to manage, but she's only 8 years old. The base is foam, and flimsy... I ended up doing the bracelets for her. This would be great for an older 'kid' with more patience.
