Terrarium/Fairy Garden Kit with 3 Plants - Create Your Own Living Terrarium

Very happy with this purchase! My first time to order plants through Amazon and I'm completely impressed by the quality of the plants and all products packaged together by JMBamboo. Temperatures had been running in triple digits, I was worried the plants would suffer in transit but they arrived about 48 hours after being shipped and all 4 plants were still very moist and in good shape. I decided to go with a planter, instead of a terrarium so I did need to purchase more soil. Had I gone with a smaller container or all four plants in one there was enough soil, charcoal, moss, and rocks to finish the project.I would definitely recommend this kit for either fairie gardens, a terrarium, or just to add some nice plants to your home. This was my very first fairie garden and purchasing everything here in this kit made it very simple and I'm not stuck with a bunch of leftover items that I don't need. I will not hesitate to purchase from JMBamboo again and recommend you do the same.Edited to add: it’s been a few months since I made this purchase, all the plants have not only survived, they are thriving! Even the moss is beautiful. I have to trim back the polka dot plants on occasion to keep them from being too tall which has given me more plants by rooting the pieces I’ve trimmed! I’ve made more orders since this one and I now consider JMBamboo as my go to shop for my indoor gardening needs!

When I first placed my order, I was a little skeptical because I didn't know if there would be enough materials to build my terrarium. My packaged arrived the day after I ordered it (Granted I live in LA and it shipped from a few cities over) Upon arrival, I was 100% satisfied. There were an abundant amount of materials--I could probably have made two terrariums if I wanted! What impressed me the most was that I got 4 plants instead of 3! I was ecstatic. The plants arrived in great shape, and they didn't seem stressed or damaged. Maybe the terrarium I built was on the smaller side, but the plants were actually fairly large too--they weren't super scrawny like the plants from other kits. If I were to buy all these supplies at a gardening store, they would definitely add up to more than $15. I ended up only using about half of each plant in my terrarium. The only complaint I had was that there were no labels for the plants! It's a little annoying not knowing what kind of plants I'm growing; however, the exceptional quality, fast shipping, and low price made up for this.

Before I start my review, I just wanted to say that this is my first review for any product but I just felt the need to share my experience because I know how helpful reviews were when I made my final purchase decision. I bought a terrarium and this kit for my sister, who asked for a terrarium for Christmas. I've never made a terrarium before and don't really know anything about terrarium maintenance, so I was just hoping that it would stay alive for the week that it was in my care before Christmas comes. After several days of product research, I decided to purchase this kit because of the previous positive reviews, included care instructions (as I mentioned, I've never done this before), and the decent price. The kit came in the mail in a timely manor, having arrived before the final expected date. When I opened up the box, I found that all of the listed items were included and even a bonus fourth plant that I wasn't expecting. The plants weren't labelled, however, so I'm not sure what type of plant my sister's terrarium is home to. It was a cold day outside (temp was in the 30 degree F range) so I tried to get the package in the house as soon as possible to decrease the likelihood of plant damage. The box was filled with packing peanuts that made a cozy and insulated ride for the plants and soil kit. But, the bag of rocks had a huge cut in it which caused at leat half of the rocks to spill out which was a struggle when they got mixed up with the aforementioned packing peanuts. Once the rocks were all accounted for, I set about making the terrarium for the next two hours of my life. After much pain and slight suffering, I'm very satisfied with the final turnout of the terrarium and I hope that my sister likes it as well. The only reason that I withheld a star was because on the white and green plant, a couple of the leaves were brown (which I just plucked off) and I'm waiting to see how well the plants hold up after a few weeks. In the pictures, the decorative mushrooms that are seen were purchased separately, as was the actual terrarium.

I was SHOCKED! I opened the box and they were absolutely perfect!!!! I expected to look a little tattered from shipping in the U.S. mail, but I was very pleasantly surprised! 😊These were delivered before they promised and arrived in excellent condition. Tiny, perfect little baby plants. And so cute! I think they are probably the healthiest plants I have ever purchased. I could not believe they arrived in such perfect condition! Very, very pleased! The terrarium kit was easy to do and fun to put together. My 8 yr old and I had fun planting them in our big glass jug. (Found at Hobby Lobby.)We created a sealed terrarium and hope to enjoy looking at for the next many years to come. Two weeks later, these plants still look great and seem to be thriving. 🙂I was afraid of buying plants online, but this experience could not have been better! I am so happy with this purchase that I am buying the smaller kit so I can have my own mini-terrarium on my desk.I never write reviews. I always mean to but never get around to it but I felt like this company deserved it. I do wish I knew the names of the plants. I noticed a few other reviewers mentioned this too and I agree it would be nice to know their names. That minor is the only thing I would suggest them to add.Bottom line: GREAT EXPERIENCE, PERFECT PLANTS, WILL DEFINITELY BUY FROM THEM AGAIN!!! VERY PLEASED!!!
