We are reading this in our women's Bible study and it is an eye-opener. While I can appreciate what the author is saying, I don't agree with everything she writes. To me, this is a serious study book, and is a good book for our study group. It has made our discussions much more intense and we've grown closer as a group. I highly recommend it if this is your thing to read. Just remember: we all have our own perception of life and religion. You don't have to believe the same exact thing to benefit from this awesome book.

Joanna Weaver has written a teaching that everyone needs to read! Through personal testimony and amazing revelatory insight she brings God's wisdom that will change our lives. So very well written. You need to read this book.

A couple ladies in my church. We all got together and read this book together, and we talked about each chapter in the book really did enjoy it and enjoyed the fellowship of talking about this book and Mary.

I enjoyed reading this book. It is a quick read but great to set your life in perspective. I will reread it during Lent and answer the many questions again to see if changes were made in my life after reading it the first time. I found this enjoyable and challenging in a good way. I would recommend the book to others.

we are just starting the bible study and find it very interesting. What I like is that is backed up with God's word not just an opinion. I think any woman who wants to have God take over her life and put in order this is a must read

The bible is the only other book that has helped and changed me more. It encourages an in depth look at oneself, our attitudes, our thinking, and the behavior based on those. It came along at a time when my heart and ears were open. I've read it 3 times and am doing a bible study based on it in the fall, as I see something new each time I read it. It's not for the 'faint of heart'. One must be willing to take a truthful look at oneself, and be willing to change, according to His will. The author, Joanna Weaver, does a great job of guiding the readers through this process, by her own transparency.Diane Grant

Amazing topic and really gets u thinking

Though the target readers of this book are females, it is applicable to males too. I was struggling to find time to spend with God because I had so much to do everyday. I could clearly identify myself with Martha and the moment I saw this book I knew I had to read it.Sure, it did not disappoint me. This book helped me address a lot of issues in my life and I could clearly hear the heart and call of God.If you are like me struggling to find time to spend with God everyday because of the daily burdens of life, please do yourself a favor and read this book. You will truly be blessed and refreshed.
