HE BE CHONK | HE BE STRONK: I have dubbed this monster "Phone Ramrod." This thing is the try-hard bodybuilder of phones. Good screen, has some motion blur/smearing while scrolling but not during video playback. The processor benchmarks a little below the one in the Galaxy S24 Ultra; there is no lag or freezing while using this fella. The projector, LED lights, and cameras(normal and infrared) work as described. Epic battery life, epic charger. The main issues I've found are with the Bluetooth connecting for phone calls but not audio, which requires you to manually connect the audio or restart the connection. Initially, the T-Mobile device service said that the phone wasn't fully compatible but after some automatic updates it started working normally. I might need to get a new SIM card from T-Mobile to optimize performance.

I've had this phone for about 3 weeks now. Battery life is fantastic. Lasts 4 to 6 days depending on how much I use it. Get about 24 hours of on screen time per charge. The projector is a really cool feature. I don't use it much but my son loves it. The camping light is fantastic. Very bright. The remote control feature does work good. I just don't really need it but it's cool that it's there. I haven't dropped it yet. Even though it's durable I'm afraid to. Especially with this phones weight. You do have to get used to something this heavy as a phone but it's worth it for everything you get. This phone only has one speaker but it gets very loud. Don't expect much in the way of bass response like the flagships have. It charges in about 2 hours. Very fast for such a huge battery. The cameras are decent. I've had phones with better cameras but I've also had some with worse. If what you're taking a pic if isn't moving the pictures look great. Any kind of movement and you get a blur. The night vision is really cool. I think that covers most of it. Needless to say I really like this phone. Will buy another unihertz phone in the future. I know the tank 4 is coming soon but I will probably wait to see what they do with a tank 5. If they make one.

The phone is a Tank! Huge with decent features. However, it came locked with no support from seller. Would like to keep the phone as the projector is a nice feature but it’s almost useless without the ability to connect to a carrier.

This phone can do it all. Kinda. Projector, lantern, police light and many other features most you can find in the toolkit. I bought this phone coming from my daily driver an iPhone 16 pro max. I’m going to start with the negatives. 1. Does not work on Verizon or Verizon based carriers without an already active SIM card I also found the only place I could really get this activated was through mint mobile. 2. Because it doesn’t have full band support for T-Mobile you won’t be able to use all RCS features and all 5g security features that android offers. 3. Speaking of RCS it’s not supported through carriers for this device and a special set of instructions including disconnecting it from your carrier are required to get it to work through Google. 4. It is locked to android 14 doesn’t look like there will be an android 15 update. 5. The camera optimization is kinda really bad supposedly they have these massive sensors but they all really suck. Also the app freezes when switching between camera modes. This section is for things I found just okay. 1. Screen isn’t super bright but that’s also good for keeping the already incredible battery going longer. 2. I found the screen sensitivity to be lacking. 3. Accessing the toolkit for a lot of the more specific features is kind of a pain. 4. Sometimes the screen turns off during projector mode and won’t turn back on so I find myself dumbing to try to hit the projector mode off button blindly based on the projection from the device. 5. Device is heavy and doesn’t seem all that sturdy 6. This device is legal according to the TSA but you will likely be asked questions as I was stopped on Amtrak. The good. 1. Battery life is super impressive 2 days on average use 7 days in standby. 2. The processor is pretty good and with some tweaking I can get tons of software to run amazingly. 3. The screen looks great for the size of the device. Volume is fantastic and it can run louder than the fan it has for the projector allowing you to enjoy movies and gaming without hearing the fan. 4. The night vision camera is actually pretty good and probably the only good camera on the device. 5. 512 gb means I haven’t needed to buy an expansion card just yet. 6. Tons of party tricks and honestly a really cool device from the prospective of what can we do with android when most limits are off. Final notes. Would I permanently switch from my iPhone? No probably not. Is this device worth its almost $800 price tag? I’d wait for a sale. Is it super cool with lots of features that would be cool for an outdoorsy person? 100%. I wish the cameras were better optimized and that it was easier to find a cell carrier because then I could consider replacing my phone with this device permanently.

Durable, long battery life, comparable to something like my old Sonim which has a much smaller battery. The weight is compatible with most airline restrictions but goes right near what might be allowed. Most people ask me if its actually a weapon or a case and not just a phone. It has a lot of lockdown features, notably it doesn’t seem to have the complete google suite installed, and features which allow you to automatically open other apps are not enabled by default. To me this is great since there are so many vulnerabilities which can quietly exploit these features.
