Full transparency here - I do not like the flavor of this on its own, but I have figured out a mixture that works very well for me. I love the Dunkin pineapple mango refresher, but it's just a ton of sugar and empty calories. I was hoping the tropical punch mix would be similar in flavor and of course, it was not nearly the same. That said, it is a very light flavor that is not overly sweet, so I now add one Dunkin sugar free pineapple mango powder packet to the scoop of protein powder, and while the taste isn't an exact match, it's a really good dupe that gives me 20g of protein first thing in the morning. I now find that I crave this every morning and it has helped me tremendously since starting my GLP-1 journey. I struggle a lot with being aggressively NOT hungry a lot of the time, and especially in the morning, eating a nutritious breakfast with protein is really tough for me to manage. This gets me off on the right foot and gets me through until either lunch or a mid-morning snack - if you are typically hungry, I doubt this is going to fill you at all, but if you also struggle with not being hungry or you just need another way to easily get protein, this could be a really great option for you. The texture is absolutely smooth and there is no viscosity or sliminess like you can get with some clear proteins. It needs to be shaken very well, but once the foam dies down, it's exactly the consistency of water. I do mix it with a good 24 oz of water and ice (best super cold in my opinion), and that combo with the Dunkin packet gives me a protein refresher that I can easily stomach and enjoy any time of day, but especially when the lack of hunger is preventing me from eating real food. Digestive-wise, this one is great for me. I have noticed that other protein drinks (the creamy whey shakes and even the protein milks) can sit in my stomach like concrete or even give me nasty GERD symptoms. This one does not at all for me. I also tried the Isopure mixed berry packets with electrolytes and those immediately gave me a stomach ache - maybe the electrolytes, I don't know. I did some research on other similar products and this one is a decent per oz. price, and it's a nice light product with great texture and high quality ingredients that can be mixed up with other powders. Highly recommend to anyone struggling with GLP-1 or bariatric surgery challenges.

My first time, I used 14oz of water. The flavor is good, but if you like it a little stronger, you may prefer 12oz. It dissolved completely! I have issues with textures, so I was nervous about this. Especially because I'd read reviews that said they had issues with it dissolving. Here's my process: 1) poured cold bottled water from fridge into medium shaker bottle (no ball) 2) added 1 scoop protein powder 3) shook hard 4) let settle for a few minutes 5) shook hard again 6) set in fridge to settle until I was ready to drink When I went to get it from the fridge, I was pleasantly surprised to see how clear it was. The foam had completely settled and there were no clumps at all! I thought there might be just a bit of grittiness at the very bottom, but there was none. I did not shake it anymore after I started drinking it. I saw other reviews that said they would make a few of these at a time, and they were fine in the fridge for a couple days, so I plan to try that for a true grab-and-go option. This made me feel SO full. I can't imagine eating a meal anytime soon after having it, but that's going to differ from person to person. I'm also not used to having a lot of protein in one sitting, so once I get used to it, that overfull feeling may change. So, to say I'm impressed and so excited I finally found an easy way to get more protein, is an understatement. It's not cheap, but it's actually not too bad considering you have to pay for protein no matter which source you get it from. I got the 36 servings tub for about $58, which comes out to about $1.61 for a serving of 22g of protein. Honestly, that's a steal. I couldn't be happier!

I needed some way to get in additional protein after a surgery, as my vegetarian diet wasn't cutting it, but I HATE the texture and flavor of common protein powders - chalky, in texture and flavor, with an indescribably unpleasant aftertaste, in my opinion. This really does cut that problem in half. There is absolutely no chalkiness, it at least looks and feels just like crystal light, and it still does the job. (Note: it is NOT vegetarian, so don't order this if you're a *strict* vegetarian. I make exceptions when it doesn't look or taste like an animal.) I did not love the flavor. I got the fruit punch flavor and it kind of tastes good for a moment, but has a very bitter aftertaste. In my opinion it DOESN'T taste just like crystal light, contrary to some of the other reviews. At least, that was my experience. I have noticed that I'm a lot more sensitive to bitter flavors than other people in my life, so you may not experience that at all. But if you ARE sensitive to bitter flavors, be prepared to drink this as quickly as possible. It still beats a chalky powder drink, and it's much easier to chug, so considering just how much I dislike every other option, I'm considering this 4 stars even though I dislike the flavor. Most people will probably like this better than me because of my picky taste buds, so I do think it is deserved.

Tropical Punch flavor is hands-down the best of this brand. You'll get used to the aftertaste of clear protein, but important tips are to mix this in a container with room to froth up (it dissipates after about 30 seconds) and to mix well. When you shake it up initially, it does have a tendency to form little "balls" of mix, which is pretty unpleasant. BUT... if you let it sit long enough and then mix vigorously, I've found that these disappear. So bottom line is that it's not a quick mix & drink beverage. I tend to make it in the morning, add a couple scoops of collagen with a shaker ball in a shaker bottle, then come back to it in about an hour after shaking. Also, as with all protein drinks, don't let your container sit - rinse/wash this blender bottle out as soon as you're done or you'll experience a pretty gnarly smell.

I tried using cold water, warm water, a shaker bottle, and even a spoon to mix it manually, and every time, I was left with chunks floating in my drink. It felt like I was drinking a science experiment gone wrong rather than a protein supplement. Then there’s the taste — or, more accurately, the assault on your taste buds. It is way too sweet. Like, alarmingly sweet. Almost like they dumped half a bag of sugar into it. I was expecting something light and refreshing, maybe even slightly fruity, since it’s supposed to be “clear” and drinkable. Instead, I got a cloying, artificial flavor that made my stomach turn. I’ve tried flavored water, sugar-free sports drinks, and other clear protein powders before, and nothing has been this over-the-top sweet and chemically tasting. I honestly had to pour half the serving out because I physically couldn’t drink it. As someone who’s post-bariatric surgery, texture, taste, and digestibility are critical. My stomach is sensitive, and I need protein powders that are gentle, mix well, and are palatable so I can actually get the nutrients I need. This Isopure Clear product fails on all three counts. It has an alright taste. Nothing lingers to long. And it doesn't taste like a protein drink. But there is a weird chemical like taste. It is way better if you make the drink as cold as possible. The topical punch flavor really isn't there. When it says to shake it and dont blend it. Its serious. This thing foams up so much that in putting it in a large cup, like twice the size you need, it still just about foams out. Then letting it sit for over a minute, more like 3, the foam slowly goes away. You will always have slight chunks of the powder left over. No matter how long you shake it. Its really not worth it. There's better stuff out there.

I can’t stand milky/chalky protein drinks or heavy artificial sweetener flavor, both make me feel ill. I’ve tried several brands of clear isolate, this one is my favorite because the stevia flavor isn’t overwhelming. It’s a little on the plain side, so people who like extra sweet drinks might not like it. I like to add a little lemon/lime juice, crushed mint or ginger, and honey. Like every other brand of clear isolate powder, it foams and can be a little slow to totally dissolve. I use 16oz of cold water in a 24oz mason jar with a shaker ball. Shake vigorously and leave it in the fridge a while, at least 20 minutes, but I usually mix mine the night before I need them. It does dissolve all the way if you do that. I don’t recommend using a blender. If you’re trying to meet protein goals while in a calorie deficit, this stuff is a game changer. I also love the short and simple ingredients list.

I can’t do a lot of protein powders because they upset my stomach, but this is one of the few that doesn’t! I use a bullet blender to mix it and it works great but it’s very important to let it sit for 20-30 minutes to let the foam settle and go away. I do think it’s a little too sweet, so I just water it down a little more than the directions say to.

First clear protein Ive had. Ok however has a bit of a bitter after taste. Maybe its normal for clear whey?

Haven't used anything like this before. It dissolves in water ro a clear liquid and tastes great! I am not going back to any other protien powder
