Both. Most trains are push trains, but you can buy (separate) some trains that run on a battery. They are quite slow, but fun nevertheless.

How many of the vehicles are motorized?

None, you have to buy these separately. All vehicles are push type.

Is the train station in this set a speaking one? Or a recording one?

Is a speaking one. It welcomes to train stations of several cities using the language of the country. Sorry for the delay I have to ask the owner in USA.
