I'm very pleased with this kit. My grandson wants to grow some Venus Flytraps - why? - so got your kit, a tiny greenhouse style terrarium and a kit with pots and seeds. The wee greenhouse looks great with all the layers in - we had to substitute different soil, but otherwise so much fun stuff to fill it with. Now all we need is for the plants to grow. If they don't, I'm going to try something else but the kit seems pretty adaptable. One thing though - it might be good to label the bags of different layers for thickos like me? I put the wee stones on as the bottom layer, got as far as the charcoal....and then had to scoop everything out when I found the intended bottom layer, the clay pebbles. Lovely, fun kit and great value.

Exactly as described, and ideal for what I want but what got me was the someone went to the trouble of cutting the cork in half! see photo, I left my glasses there to give a size comparison. This was the small kit, and the decorative pieces are small. I would have given another star but someone stuck a label over the important name label of the kit, it's not removable so spoils the gift experience for my daughter, it could have gone any where else with impacting it.

Perfect kit for making a terrarium. Well packaged and good instructions. Excellent to have all the things you need in one package.

Great idea to grow in a jar or glass container. Looks great & feeds plant well.

Terrarium was not water-tight. Looks good , but a bit flimsy
