So this is not a good drift car, in any way, there is no gyro, so powerslides end up 360s, with the drift spares, it has zero traction, even when you get a good line it just falls out of the slide. . On the other hand. Its fast. Like way fast. With the grip tires, it suprised the heck out of me. It can be a little twitchy but it is very nimble, my cats love chasing it, its fast enough to get away and zip by them, my whole house is hadwood so its perfect for the animals.

As a huge Ken Block (RIP) and Gymkhana series fan, I had to have this. SUPER SUPER Fun: As someone new to the RC drift scene, I can't get enough of the excitement. The 4-wheel drive is seamless, and the controls are flawless and balance the level of sensitivity required quite well. Trim Settings: Having the trim settings right on the remote is a fantastic feature, making it easy to fine-tune the car's performance. Really is an awesome extra when the alternative would be to flip the car and use the little click-gauge style adjuster on the bottom. Gyro Setting: The gyro setting is awesome and immediately noticeable when you crank it up. It changes the whole dynamic of the drift—not quite traction control, but it makes it substantially easier to control. Speed Controls: Starting on the highest speed was a wild ride. This thing whips around effortlessly. The three speed control settings are fantastic. Drift probably requires setting 2 or 3. If you turn it down to 1, it doesn't seem to break the rear end away. Durability: It's reasonably tough too. It's survived a few crashes without any component failures, which speaks to its durability. Battery Life: Battery life is reasonable. I didn’t time it exactly, but I would guess somewhere around 20 minutes. I didn't think that was too bad considering the size of the car. It's FAST! If you put to throw the included rubber tires on, I don't think the highest speed is rational. Not sure if it would survive a crash at those speeds. Size: It's a 1:43 which means it's a pretty small car, but (I think) this is the size they race at our local RC shops indoor track. The kids love it, but at this point, I definitely have more time on the controller whipping this little thing all over the house. Overall, I really love this thing. For the money, it's probably pretty reasonable. I known its by no means "cheap," but seems to be right in range with all the others in the $40-60 range. I think you get a pretty sweet drifting and race ready option right out of the box. I can't wait to keep working those drift skills. For any RC drift car enthusiasts, especially my Gymkhana fans out there, this is a must-have. Highly recommend!
