Nothing deliver yet again. A great set of headphones for the money!
I'd been looking for new wireless headphones for a while and didn't hesitate to give these a shot when I saw them. I bought a set of Nothing Ear (a) in-ear buds last year and was so impressed I bought another set so I can use one while the others are charging. I won't need to buy a second pair of these as the battery life is phenomenal. A heavy day of listening with LDAC and NC enabled, for me, only eats up about 10-15%. So I'm anticipating they'll only need charging once a week with daily heavy use. Sound quality is as good as it gets for under £150. Not audiophile, but very good, especially if you take the time to tweak the 8 band parametric EQ in the app. There's also a simplified EQ for those who don't want the faff. Bass enhancement is also there - which works well - upping the bass heft without totally obliterating mids and highs. The sound stage is also surprisingly quite wide for closed-back headphones, especially at this price, with decent separation and clarity. I regularly use a pair of wired Sennheiser DT770 Pro's (the studio legends) and in side-by-side testing the Headphone (a)'s more or less held their own - and that's some high praise when you consider they're bluetooth, not wired. Speaking of the app. In short, you'll not find a better companion app anywhere. It's certainly the best I've ever seen. Sony, Bose, etc should definitely take note and up their game. Genuinely useful features all beautifully laid out in Nothing's customary elegant styling. The headphones themselves are very well built. Solid and sturdy with the impression that they're gonna last. The design is probably in the "marmite" category - you'll either love 'em or hate 'em. Personally I love them - something a bit different to the somewhat generic styling you find pretty much anywhere else at this price. My only slight grumble is that I wish the padding on the headband was just a couple of mm deeper - it's fine and they are comfortable to wear, but after a long session you'll know you've been wearing them. The ears pads are soft and spacious - probably the most comfortable I've experienced on any set of headphones. The controls are physical, tactile buttons. Well, a roller, a paddle and a button, to be more precise, and they work superbly well and feel very premium. Roll the roller for volume up and down, press it to play & pause, or long-press to alternate between noise cancelling and transparency modes. Flip the mini paddle for next and previous track. The button defaults to launching your phone's smart assistant, but it's function can be changed in the app to select an alternate EQ pre-set, mic mute, or even your phone's camera shutter. Noise cancelling, whilst not class-leading, is actually very good. And transparency mode works well if you need to hear more of the environment around you whilst listening to your tunes. Overall, a very good set of headphones, especially when you consider the price. Comfortable, decent sounding with solid noise cancelling, a unique design, solid construction and a terrific companion app. I'd go as far to say you'd probably struggle to find anything better at this price.

You won't be returning these!
These are awesome. Really clear and sound great. Works seamlessly with the Nothing phone which has a great audio set up. Weight is good. Hardly noticed wearing them and the noise cancelling is excellent. Quality feel to them and they look striking, rather than being a sheep like the rest. Fits Great on my head and soft touch with real metal parts. Great price too.

Brilliant
Incredibly solid headphones, sound quality is amazing, it looks great and I've received a couple compliments on them already. Very easy to set up, pretty much a connect and it works situation with the option to mess around with the eq if you wish. The metal ear cups feel high quality and durable, and the adjustment is linear rather than happening in steps, allowing for a great fit for most head sizes

Great sound, poor material for the ear cups.
These are fantastic headphones, even switched off, the fitting is great and cancels some noise. The connection is fast and reliable, sound is excellent. My only gripe is the PU ear textile, along with the headband, these will degrade through oils, and sweat. Invest in some of the silicone covers, they will preserve the life.

a LOT to desire from Nothing
never one to jump at the chance to review an item but these headphones from nothing deserve the praise. incredibly comfy, sturdy and look so cool! they sound great straight out of the box but the nothing x app is must download; allowing you to play around with the eq, bass and frequency allowing you to make the sound so much more diverse and cater to your personal preferrence. the battery life is incredible and the acn is so good! couldn’t recommend them enough for the price, a must buy if you’re looking at exceptional value for mid-range affordability. 5*

Very well thought out set of headphones
Update: I love these headphones, the Bluetooth is fabulous. Been wearing them every day on my digger and you hardly hear the machine. When you answer a phone call with a backpack blower on the caller can't even here the machine. Wow. The buttons are great and Google AI works just from your voice. I initially bought these because they had some weather resistance to them and they were the only pair that I could find. I work as a gardener using loud machinery and mowers. The noise cancellation is as good if not better than my AirPods and Samsung earbuds. The app for Android is well thought out and you can custom your hearing ability in the app which is a lovely touch. For me the sound quality is perfect there is a very slight muffling on some of the tones but I think this could be down to the weatherproofing of the unit whereas the bose and Sony don't have this option so there sound might be clearer. I don't think this is an issue at all and for the average person in the street these are a perfect set of overear headphones. The one thing I was very surprised about as I listened to the developer talking about these headphones before I bought them and they commented about the placement of the switches and how to use them saying they'd put a lot of thought into these, well I can 100% agree that these are the most logical and easy to use buttons and switches I have ever had on the set of headphones so for this I commend them highly. I also took out Amazon insurance on them as I will be using them outside all year and generally aware my earpods for at least 8 hours each day so these will be very nice not having to have them in my ear. The long and short of it is yes I can highly recommend these overear headphones

Aesthetically pleasing, low sound, heavy headset
Aesthetically pleasing looking headphones with good ANC. Ideal for indoor listening. Outdoors is ok however for me the sound was quite low. Comfortable for short periods of time as they are quite heavy.

I've seen tons of headphones that follow the same safe, monotonous design language. The Nothing Headphone (1) is not one of them. This is Nothing's ambitious first entry into the over-ear headphone market, and it's clear they aimed to do more than just compete. They came to make a statement. After putting the headphones through their paces, I can say they’ve created a product that is as compelling as it is polarizing, blending standout design with features that challenge the top players, though not without a few important caveats. Design & Controls: A Masterclass in Tactile Satisfaction The first thing you'll notice about the Headphone (1) is the design. It's a stunning piece of retro-futuristic industrial art, with unique square-ish earcups, transparent elements, and a high-quality aluminum frame. They feel premium and sturdy, and they will absolutely turn heads. More impressive than the look, however, are the controls. In an era of finicky touch gestures, Nothing has opted for gloriously tactile physical controls. No confusing touch-sensitive pads that screw up the listening experience. There's a satisfying power switch, as well as a "paddle" for skipping tracks. And the star of the show: a metal "roller" for volume. It’s intuitive, precise, and an absolute joy to use. This is, without a doubt, one of the best control schemes on any pair of headphones today. A few things to note on the design front: they're a bit heavier than the best sets from Sony or Bose, and while the memory foam earpads are plush, comfort over long periods might vary depending on head shape. That said, you should almost certainly be good for flights across a few time zones. They also fold flat to make it easy to slide into a backpack, but they don't fold up into a ball, so they aren't the most compact you can get. Personally, I prefer them to fold flat & thin, even if it means taking a wider shape, but to each their own. A huge, unexpected plus is the IP52 rating, offering dust and water resistance that is virtually unheard of in this category, making them a viable option for the gym or a commute in light rain. Sound Quality: A Tale of Two Experiences The sound of the Headphone (1) is complex. Out of the box, the audio, tuned in partnership with high-end audio brand KEF, is clean and clear but can feel a bit reserved or "sterile." It lacks the immediate "wow" factor thumping some might be expecting at this price, but that's where the settings come into play. The magic is unlocked in the Nothing X app, which features one of the most comprehensive and powerful 8-band equalizers available. If you are willing to spend a few minutes tweaking the settings, these headphones absolutely sing. You can dial in a sound profile that is rich, dynamic, and perfectly suited to your tastes. For those who enjoy tinkering, the audio potential is immense. For those who want a perfect plug-and-play experience, the default sound might feel underwhelming. Plus users can share your audio setup with a QR code. This means it's easy to find audiophiles that've made an ideal sound profile for your preferred type of music. This makes the headphones a music junkie's delight! Additionally, although the Bluetooth connection has been perfectly reliable, the headphones come with 3.5mm cable as well, if you want that physical connection for your audio. ANC, Battery, and Features: Punching Above Their Weight The Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) is surprisingly potent. It does an excellent job of silencing the consistent, low-frequency drones of planes, trains, and air conditioners, putting it in contention with models that cost significantly more. Battery life is simply phenomenal. Nothing claims up to 80 hours with ANC off and a massive 35-50 hours with ANC on. My experience confirms these numbers are accurate, placing the Headphone (1) at the very top of the class for endurance. In regards to ANC & Battery, these headphones are a superb value, especially at their pricepoint. The Verdict: A Uniquely Compelling Choice for the Right Person The Nothing Headphone (1) is a fantastic and refreshing product. It's not trying to be a direct copy of its competitors; it's forging its own path. It succeeds by offering a truly unique design, the best physical controls on the market, class-leading battery life, and powerful ANC. Who are they for? If you value distinctive design, love the satisfaction of tactile controls, and enjoy personalizing your audio with an EQ, these are an outstanding choice. The excellent battery life and rare water-resistance rating add a layer of practicality that's hard to ignore. Who should look elsewhere? If your top priorities are the very best-in-class comfort, or the most compact design, you may want to look at lighter, more foldable competitors. For those whose priorities align with what Nothing offers, the Headphone (1) is a brilliant debut that delivers style and substance in equal measure.

Ive been using these as my PC headset for about half a year with the occasional pairing to my phone. Works flawlessly. Great value and functionality. Ear detection was a surprise. I'd recommend these. Yes the case is not great but the product itself is perfect. No regrets choosing this over the xm5/6 or the Bose QCs

Headphones are great, but I bought them from Amazon Germany, and they were marked as "Ships from Amazon Germany" .. They were direct drop-shipped from somewhere in Hong Kong. Need to be more up front.
