Tempur-Pedic TEMPUR-Ergo Neck Pillow, Medium Profile, White

The reviews on this were a bit mixed but when I realized most of the negative feedback was due to the firmness I gave it a shot and I am soooo happy that I did! I have a pinched nerve in my neck that has cause me issues for YEARS and I have spent hundreds of dollars trying every kind of pillow known to man from water pillows to feather pillows to regular memory foam pillows and even a few that are specifically for my kind of neck pain and while they are good they weren't helpful for my situation. THIS however works so good! Yes, it is Firm, but that is what I need. I can no longer sleep on my side for health reasons so if you are a side sleeper I can't say how well it would work, but for a back sleeper looking for neck relief from severe pain it is worth every penny! I got the medium profile and it is the perfect height. It is not too heavy but stays in place during the night to support my neck and head all night! I have finally found my perfect pillow! If you need support and sleep on your back I highly recommend!

I had one of these Tempur-Pedic pillows around 20-years ago and liked it, but switched to down pillows for some reason, and have been through many other types of pillows over the years. I have been waking up with neck pain and headaches for a long time. While the pillows I have feel comfortable when I go to sleep, they are not supportive while I sleep! Trying to save a few bucks, I ordered some other funky off-brand ergo pillow here, and it did not work for me. I ordered the medium Tempur-Pedic neck pillow, and it has done the trick! Neck is supported. No pain, no headaches. It just takes a minute or two when getting ready to sleep to get situated. I expect I will get that figured out. I'm just happy to wake up without my neck in knots! Before purchasing, I read many, many reviews. I saw a number of people complain that this pillow is "small". When you put it next to a standard pillow, yes, it is! But really, how much pillow does your head need? This pillow has plenty of room to lay on your back and turn side to side. I also saw people complaining about not being able to fit a regular pillowcase on it. Why? It has a comfortable washable, removable case. If it doesn't fit your decor, throw it in a closet during the day. Also yes, it is firm. But that is the point. The comfy mushy pillows won't support your neck. I highly recommend this pillow vs. the knockoffs. It keeps your neck more stable and supported while you sleep.

I've had neck discomfort sleeping for the last 3 years and have tried many pillows. I finally ordered the TEMPUR neck pillow recommended by my friend. She swears by it and and has used hers for many years. Based on my repeated measurements I ordered the medium size pillow. It wasn't comfortable, I returned it and ordered the smaller size. I should have paid more attention to the note...if in between sizes order smaller of the two. The smaller one fits just right, providing needed support to my neck and placing my head in a better position. It works for me both side and back sleeping so my nights are more restful. Before I got this I was switching pillows every time I moved from back to side sleeping at night. The pillow was very firm to start with. I followed suggestions I found online to break it in. I would stand on it and bend it a few times the first few days. Now it feels great. My friend was right, it is the only pillow I need.

Bought this for my boyfriend to upgrade his old memory foam pillow that he loved after he complained about having neck/back pain. He’s been sleeping on this pillow exclusively for 3 months now and is obsessed with it and refuses to use any other pillow. Love that the pillow comes in different heights for comfort and neck support based on preferences. This pillow has definitely helped with pain relief and better sleep quality for my boyfriend. Also love that it has a removable cover to wash and keep clean. Well worth the investment to wake up feeling better!

Although it is backed by Tempur-Pedic’s reputation for high-quality sleep products, I found this pillow to be very uncomfortable if you are a side sleeper. It wakes me up due to pain caused by the harsh firmness that so far has not eased up. I hoped it needed a break-in period, but it is just too firm for me. Granted, I don't like ultra-soft pillows, but for me, this one is just too firm. However, if I sleep on my back, it's fine. You’re paying a premium for the Tempur-Pedic name and memory foam quality, and if you don't mind a hard pillow if you're a side-sleeper, it will probably be good for you. Like most memory foam, it can feel warm during the night if you’re a hot sleeper. Bulkier than standard pillows, so it’s not easy to pack or carry around.

Finally found firm foamed pillow. The first pillow lasted with cover for protection 10+ yrs. Change & wash pillow case twice a week. The soft pillow not firm enough to hold head up

I know that a pillow is a VERY highly personal opinion of comfort. No question in my mind since I am king of searching for a pillow for years that would give my neck the support that I need. I have a C1-C2 neck fusion from surgery after a car accident back in 1984. So I have literally been trying different pillows for over 40 years of my life. I have FINALLY found what I have been searching for with this Tempur-Pedic neck pillow. The first two nights I tried sleeping with the more shallow end of the pillow. That just worked so so. But then I used chatgpt to see if others found better results using the higher side of the pillow. Sure enough! It was very common for back sleepers like myself to sleep with the higher end. I make sure that my neck rests on the curve but my head dips slightly into the center as instructed. WOW!!! Great support finally! The pillow isn't totally broken in yet so it should get even better from this point. I know that no pillow works perfectly for everyone.....that just isn't reality. But for me.....I have FINALLY found the neck support and spinal alignment that ! absolutely need. FIVE STARS !!!

I am a back sleeper, very still and never move all night. The pillow is small (side to side) but works for me. I have the SAME version of this pillow, but it is older. My older one feels more gooey/dough like and my neck almost instantly molds to the old pillow compressing it very little. The newer version does not react as quickly to compress the foam and the foam is stiffer and firmer, not gooey/dough like so my head does rest a bit higher on this new one. Old foam Vs new foam is a completely different foam. +++What I love about this pillow is the SHAPE of it. This is what provides relief for my neck. If you happen to look at any contour pillows, they all market them as having 2 sides you can use. A 3.5" and a 4.3" are the typical measurements for those contour bumps. BUT if you want to use the 3.5" side, the other higher side still keeps your head up too high pushing your chin into your neck. The center slope is not low enough either. I consider that a major design flaw that they used in a way to market it to more people, large or small. It does not work for smaller people. Temperpedic has designed these CORRECTLY so you pick your own size pillow!! Small, medium, or large. These are the sizes of the contour bump heights, NOT the size/width of the pillow! I LOVE the design of this pillow, it is perfect for me having only one smaller contour and the other end flat. My chin is NOT pushed into my neck. Just a bit too firm, but not skin numbing firm. Not sure if I will keep it or not just yet. For side sleeping, this pillow's shape works for me too. My shoulders are not broad and my mattress is extremely soft so my shoulders do sink more into my mattress so a high pillow is not required for me for side sleeping. Again though, the pillow is a bit too firm and does not mold to my head/neck nearly as much as my old original Tempurpedic pillow does. I may try to heat it with a hair dryer or put it in the dryer first to see if that does anything for it before using it next. I wished they offered this in different densities.

I’ve used this pillow for a few months now. It took a few nights to get used to but it’s really worthwhile. I used to sleep on feather pillows and it always gave me neck or shoulder ache. This pillow is very nicely supportive. It’s quite firm so you’ll need to get used to it. There are two neck heights! As a short, petite person, I use the side with the shorter neck height with no problem. I’m a mostly back and sometimes side sleeper. Sleeping on the side is a little bit awkward because your arm can’t really go under the pillow easily. But I don’t consider it a deal breaker.

I bought this as a replacement for the same Tempur Pedic neck pillow that I've been using for over 10 years. My old Tempur Pedic neck pillow was starting to feel less comfortable for me so I bought a new one. However, I had a guest who used my old neck pillow and had no complaints about it. I love this neck pillow so much that I try to bring it with me during trips (if possible). I prefer to use my own pillow when sleeping on hotels because the neck support that I get from this pillow makes a big difference in the quality of my sleep. I strongly recommend this product. However, the medium size may be too small for some people.

I had one similar for 20 yrs and had a hard time to get rid off it because it was perfect, but with the new one I’m so happy. It adjust at support your neck really fast. Worth the money definately
