Aran 400g with Wool,Woolcraft Yarn, 30 Colour's (Marble 899)

I was looking for the right substitute for super bulky yarn (7st in 14ws 10x10cm) for my oversized cardi. The yarn recommended by pattern creator for my cardi is not available in the UK so I decided to try for the 1st time Woolcraft Aran Knitting (25%Wool 75%Acrylic, 18st in 26rws 10x10cm).And boy I was glad to take the bet of buying yarn without ever seeing it! I use 3 strands to achieve super bulky gauge and strands layer up together smoothly and flawlessly. And pattern is coming out beautifully after tweaking original to match this yarn. I am now converted from Rowan, Debbie Bliss etc to this brand and look forward to some future experiments! And without feeling of guilt over bankrupting family finances - quite the opposite!Ps: I can’t seem to find which country this yarn is manufactured in - according to barcode the company maybe is in the US, but where physical factory stands is unclear. Hopefully not in India or China, but closer to home!

The wool arrived on time and I started knitting with it as soon as it arrived. It was good quality and a good price. It is knitting up well. I will order more from this company in the future.
