Stylish and useful phone mount
This is a versatile and well built phone mount for bikes, scooters, and motorcycles. Great for slightly thick stems due to its unique design. It works universally and fits a wide range of mobile phone models.

Be careful how you attach it
When installing this on your bike, you must remember that you don't just wrap the strap around your bar and then hook it, but you have to thread the strap behind the hook then bend it around to get hooked. I guess it's more secure that way. But if you remove then reattach it to the bike, it seems like it will *almost* hook directly. But no. So an OK design but not necessarily intuitive for long term use, especially if you're removing it and resintalling it. And although the rubber straps do hold the phone, it often feels like it's almost about to fall. I've used it for ~200 road miles and the phone hasn't fallen yet, but I do have some level of anxiety that it'll happen. YMMV

Works great on my road bike
I have used this phone holder for a biking season and 2500 miles on my road bike. It has handled most rough roads great. My phone did come loose once on a board walk but this is extreme terrain. I would buy it again.

I use this thing so much
I got this for holding my phone on my bike, which I figured would allow me to use my phone as a GPS/bike computer until I saved up for an actual GPS bike computer. I worked well for that, but ultimately a GPS bike computer (like a Garmin Edge) just has more functionality to it so I still got that. However, I still use this thing, especially when I'm cycling on my indoor trainer. It's super handy to keep my phone easy to reach when I'm on my bike, and in a good position so I can see it and I can control music, watch a video, or run a workout. I've also still used it occasionally when I'm cycling outside and I just need to have my phone handy (e.g., for communication). My husband also picked up a second one that he uses on the grocery cart when we're shopping so he can have the grocery list handy. Pros: it holds the phone securely, attaches to the bike securely, easily attaches and detaches from the bike, and can be easily rotated, but no so easily that it just happens on its own. Cons: I guess the phone wobbles a bit on bumps? I'm struggling to come up with another con...it's just a really nice product if you're looking to attach your phone to some kind of tube or bar that's roughly an inch in diameter.

Tricky to get phone in place, especially with an OtterBox
I have an OtterBox Commuter case on my iPhone, and while it's relatively minimal for a case, it does seem to pose a challenge for this mount.First, it's hard to get the phone in place on the mount. I think even without a case like this it would be a challenge, as you have to keep the pressure on the first end of the phone you get in place while you stretch the other end over the phone. If you don't pay close attention, that first end will pop right out and you'll have to start over. If you're like me, getting on the bike to ride is usually a time or temperature constrained thing, so even having to do this dance one extra time is costly for my ride.Second, I'm not totally convinced that it's going to hold my phone very well. I mostly ride on the streets around my neighborhood, but even the one sidewalk bunny hop I do in my route makes me wonder if the phone is going to end up on the ground. Because it's such a tedious thing to get the phone in the mount, I'm not convinced that it will stay in there under rougher riding conditions.I'll continue to use this mount and see how it goes; I may end up having to revise my review. But if you're wondering if you should get it, I'd honestly suggest you keep researching.
