I bought this just because BS Spectrum internet that my apartment forces us to have no longer supports 2.4 GHz and I lost access to my ring camera, wiz lights, and smart vacuum. Within 5 minutes of setting this up everything works perfectly!

Tesla Powerwall control panel would not connect to $2,000 Orbi wifi, as the Tesla system only connects via 2.4Ghz band. Even though the Orbi has a 2.4Ghz internet of things band connection was fragile and any disruption would break it. This simple wifi router solved the problem. It's slow for most uses, but if you have a mesh system that confounds simpler devices it might solve your issue.

Worth the money. Needed something with older security that I could connect and disconnect as needed without causing problems. Signal strength and connectivity are great and stable. Instructions could’ve been better but nothing some googling and troubleshooting couldn’t solve.

This router fails often, might last a week or 6 months, but it's cheap and will fail. Do not buy it.

Upgrading my switches and plugs to digital controls and they were filling up my home network. So, with this I created an IOT network and put all of these devices on it, freeing up my main network. Also, almost all IOT devices work on the 2.4 Ghz frequency so I deactivate sated the 5 GHz transmitter/receiver and it makes connecting new devices so much simpler.
