Good price but dulls quickly
Hard to complain for the price, but it dulls pretty quickly. I’ve gotten a fair bit of work out of it but might be worth considering higher quality.

Cuts cleanly
I use this to drill through 8” lumber to accept a fixing bolt. It cuts cleanly through, the auger removing the sawdust as it goes.

Works good on Pressure Treated lumber.
Great tool for the money, used it to drill through 8x8x16’ pressure treated boards. Broke the bit around the 250 th whole. Very pleased with the bit.

Great for tight run of PEX through plywood flooring.
Used this bit to drill a hole through the floor (plywood underlayment) behind the toilet for a PEX water supply line. Wanted a friction fit to minimize movement. A perfect bit for this job.

Built tough auger bit
Arrived next day and immediately put to good use installing deck railings at my condo complex, so lots of drilling. It continues to just chew through the wood and performs perfectly. I looked at all the local hardware stores for the 7/16” size and struck out.

It's okay, but not great
This bit is okay for foreign made. I was drilling holes in locust posts. Drilled about 32 holes through 5-6 inch posts. It snapped on the 33rd. Locust is hard and I've had name brand (but made in China) bits break on the first hole. Now onto to the next bit....

MEAN. But now it's stuck it the stump!
This thing is mean. You'd better have a decent drill tho. I tried it with a cheap, Harbor Freight Drill Master drill. Only got it in about 1/4 inch. Put a 3/8 socket on my impact gun and drove it in no problem. Now I can't get it out. For whatever reason this bit doesn't back itself out when in reverse.
