Garbage
Read to the end. With my old antenna I never had any problems with reception. Got my bullet antenna, I was so excited. The design and look was sleek and awesome. It was super easy to install. It was a huge disappointment. All the stations that I got great reception with my old standard antenna, barely came in. Now my crystal clear FM channels, were super static with every so often it would come in. I put my factory antenna back on. I will be sending this back. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!!! It may work fine if you live a couple miles from the station you listen. I wouldn’t waste my time. Might as well stuff some aluminum foil in the antenna hole. It would work better. Super unhappy.

Worth it
I did loose some reception with this antenna though. I plan on upgrading the radio to run Bluetooth in the future so it won’t be a issue then but it is noticeably less stations. However I have used this brand in the past on other cars and never lost anything so 🤷🏻♂️

Poor Reception Awesome Design very solid
The reception was not good, but the product is very solid and looks great on my black 2015 ram 1500 limited. I am thinking about drilling out the center and inserting the ball end through the center that I would cut off of a factory antenna tip which in theory should increase the reception, I believe the solid powder coating is decreasing the ability for the reception getting to the center screw supplied with this product. I will repost if i try the modification.

Looks very cool but not a simple "screw-on" installation
Looks very cool but not a simple "screw-on" installation. I had to modify the hardware to make it work on my Ram pickup - needed to make a threaded "stud" by cutting the head off of a bolt. I used "Locktite" on threads to keep people from stealing the antenna. It would be nice if they made the base with some notches which a custom wrench could be used to tighten and prevent theft. Could also use a two-piece system and a counter sunk Torx or Allen set screw to secure it to base. Reception seems to be ok (possibly a little degraded). I would buy again if needed.

Best part of my Ford Raptor
Love this product. Works perfectly and looks GREAT.... I have a new 2017 Ford Raptor and the most comments I get on my new truck is not about the fact that it is the coolest truck on the road... It is about the 50 cal bullet that I have as an antenna. It looked so good on my Raptor that I bought one for my son's F150 and my son in law's Ram 1500. None of us has noticed any change in reception with either AM or FM. It goes through the car wash fine. I think the price is great as well. I really feel like I got a great buy. Highly recommend if you want to improve the look of a truck and get rid of the long floppy antenna.

It's...an antenna, people.
Works. So far, so good. Solid aluminum. No installation instructions in box or on website. But you can figure it out. Unscrew old antenna, screw new blot, screw on new antenna, done. In a city, so signal is strong anyway. Most people use MP3 players or iPods anyway. Give the truck a nice detail, but only really noticeable if you're friends pay attention to stuff like this. Works, is small, solid and made in US. Satisfied.

Love it!
The quality of this antena is beyond what I had expected. The detail and finish of the product realy helps it stand out on my truck. Totally worth the purchase. Those wondering about reception...News Flash: The shorter the antena, the less reception you get. Duh!My location between Providence, RI & Boston, MA sees very little degradation of the signals for big radio stations.

Looks great, but reception is far worse than I expected
I knew going into it that with the antenna length being so much shorter than the factory antenna that reception would reduce, but not to this level. Radio stations that I can typically pick up when I'm 40 miles from home now don't even come in noisy until I'm 15 miles from home. I will go back to a standard length antenna now. Looks aren't as important as functionality.
