Complete Crap! Broke on second use!!

It worked fine... WHEN it worked. I tested it right before an event I needed and it worked great! After I finished testing it, it got warm but I thought maybe it just gets a little warm when used. When I got to the venue, I tried 4 DIFFERENT BATTERIES! The first 2 came out hot, and the mic just would never turn on. I used it for a Canon 70D. I had to use my camera's audio for the night. I'm asking for an exchange or refund because maybe it was a dud, not sure. I mean, I guess I took a risk with its price... but still I didn't think it would literally burn out in less than 5 minutes of use. I was so annoyed.

Shotgun mic arrived at my home. The packaging was perfect! I had a fresh AA battery for the mic. After putting in the battery and turning the mic on.... That's where my story stops, the mic never turned on. I even went out and bought more batteries. This was a waste of money. I do not recommend it to anyone. As the old saying goes "you get what you pay for".

I've had good audio with this so far. I'm using it on a Canon t5i and it is a noticeable improvement over the onboard mic. I'm haven't played with the settings much but I like it so far for the price.

This thing is a piece of junk. It has a horrible buzzing sound that goes over the audio. It is super flimsy and make of cheap plastic. I tried to return it, but they wouldn't get back to me. And now they have posted that they fixed the technical issue on the ticket. Ha! It is still sitting right here after weeks.
