Moondrop Space Travel 2 – Incredible Value and Sound
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ **Moondrop Space Travel 2 – Incredible Value and Sound** The **Moondrop Space Travel 2** earbuds absolutely blew me away. For the price, the sound quality is honestly phenomenal. The tuning is clean, balanced, and detailed, with a surprisingly wide soundstage for true wireless earbuds. Vocals come through crisp and natural, bass has a nice punch without overpowering the mids, and the highs stay clear without becoming harsh. Comfort is another big win. They’re lightweight, fit securely, and I can wear them for long sessions without any fatigue. The design is sleek and minimal, and the transparent case gives them a really unique look that stands out from the usual generic earbuds. Battery life has been solid for daily use, and the connection has been stable with no dropouts so far. Touch controls are responsive and easy to get used to, and pairing was quick and painless. Overall, these feel like earbuds that should cost much more than they do. If you want great sound, stylish design, and reliable performance without spending a fortune, the Space Travel 2s are an absolute no-brainer. **Highly recommended.** 🎧🔥

possibly the best price to quality in the earphones market BY FAR
absolutely fantastic, exceeded all expectations, insanely good for the price. audiophile partner fully agrees and knows the brand too, which is part of why i ordered them to begin with. legit haven't been this happy with a purchase in like YEARS. really good presentation too, the packaging is really nice and the charging hub looks fantastic, i really dig the vectorheart style. speaking of the aesthetics, don't let the anime girl on some of the advertising material fool you, outside of a couple audio samples you'll only hear if very rarely when interacting with the earphones in-ear and a picture on the back of the box they come in (not the charging hub), you wont be hearing or seeing any anime stuff. the only real trace of it i hear during use is if i change the noise canceling mode by tap-and-holding them, and even that sounds like just some random girl going "ssssh" and "huh?". speaking of noise canceling, really damn good for something so cheap, the audio quality in general was really solid, and the fit is really good too. i'm not an earphone kind of person, but these ones are really damn comfy and never slip, i hardly ever have to adjust them, which are usually the issues i have with earphones to begin with, so these might actually turn me into an earphone person lmao havent had a single issue with connection either, using them on android and on my pc, the bluetooth is smooth and quick and even has really solid range. literally plug and play, or well... connect and play i guess lol

I recommend - A strong improvement from the original with a price that you can't say no to.
I'd been using the Moondrop Space Travel 1 before this as my Galaxy Pro buds were giving me trouble. These are a strong step up in terms of battery life, the ANC (to me) feels better in these and I'm liking the multipoint connectivity in these which can be enabled through the app. The ear tips are comfortable and overall the sizing isn't too much different to the originals and they still keep the same placement if the touch pads. They're easy to set up and the app has firmware updates along with different sound profiles from users which you can apply to give you a different sound to better match your personal preferences. I don't love the anime voice, or the constant low battery warnings as you get closer to 10/15% as they get more frequent but that's my only gripe with these. Overall, a strong step up from the original Space Travels and a fantastic buy for a budget pair that will likely become your daily go-to. You won't be disappointed

Pleasant neutral-ish reference tuning with PEQ.
TL;DR: These are very good. The reference tuning is very pleasant. They do not have a particularly exciting sound signature, even after EQ. They do not provide a very analytical listen. The companion app's parametric EQ makes this set phenomenal and absolutely worthy of a blind buy. I'll get the annoying stuff out of the way first. - The buds are quite difficult (at least for me) to extract from the case. You have to grip the stalks and pull them out, it's a bit fiddly. - The touch pads on the stalks are quite sensitive and register inputs very easily. They work well though. - I don't really like the anime vibe, but once you're listening to music you don't get pestered by the inbuilt waifu, lol. It adds character though and I respect that. - My set came unpaired out of the box. I had a skim through the manual and I couldn't see anything about this, but I did press the two stalks together (as in, the stalks were back-to-back) and held them like that for a couple of seconds and they were paired after that. I found this out after some trial and error! The sound, though. These honestly sound incredible for the money. I have 70 (yes, seven-zero) pairs of wired IEMs so I have quite a few reference points. Out of the box they have a bass-light neutral-ish tuning which is very pleasant and, to the best of my knowledge, is unheard of at this price point for a TWS. Timbre is excellent. Bass is quite light in the sub-bass region but it's not over-cooked in the mid/upper bass. Midrange is buttery smooth and treble is nicely done (no sibilance) but sounds a little uneven in the top end - to my untrained ear, it lacks excitement and clarity. The reference tuning is overall really pleasant and inoffensive, although the pinna gain is slightly too much for me. Bass is quite punchy but the midrange & treble regions have poor transient response so some fundamentals (guitar plucks, vocals) might sound blurry or poorly defined. Imaging is also quite blurry, but not offensively so. I actually like this - reminds me of the Tangzu x HBB Xuan Nv - it's a very ethereal and dreamy presentation, nice for relaxation or background music. If you're looking for an energetic and exciting listen then these might bore you. I did have a crack at making them sound more exciting using the PEQ, with limited success - they have a cavernous dip after 10kHz which "dulls" the sound profile a bit. I did manage to partially EQ this away, though. Speaking of the PEQ, having a 5-band PARAMETRIC equalizer for a pair of £25 TWS buds (via the Moondrop app) is absolutely bonkers. You can download presets for some of Moondrop's more premium offerings as well as presets for other well-known targets like Harman / Diffuse Field. The targets themselves are represented as plots on the FR graph - you can either "auto EQ" to hit the target, or tweak the parameters to hit the target by hand. The advantage of the latter is that you can customise the sound to your liking by using the target as more of a guide - which led to me coming up with my own frequency response preference for this set. I also found auto EQ to be somewhat buggy, it's a good way to get close to a target FR however. Oh, the ANC is also pretty decent for the money. I wasn't expecting anything but the ANC definitely makes a noticeable difference to lower-pitched, droning sounds. It's serviceable, which is more than I would expect for the outlay! Here's my EQ, loosely targeting Moondrop Dusk DSP with my own modifications. It's a warmer tuning with a slightly less offensive pinna gain, providing a relaxing - but engaging - listen. It aims to lean into the strengths of this set - if you like micro-details and aggressive vocals, avoid this at all costs! :) - Frequency: 50Hz Q: 1.07 Gain: 3dB - Frequency: 155Hz Q: 0.93 Gain: 1dB - Frequency: 1.2kHz Q: 0.60 Gain: -1dB - Frequency: 2kHz Q: 0.6 Gain: -2.9dB - Frequency: 11kHz Q: 4.5 Gain: 3dB

For the price this is a no brainer 5 star set. Working noise cancelling, OK fit (I needed different sets of tipsthan the ones included, but I always keep the tips from IEMs I ordered over the years), harmless sound-profile in general. Now specifically speaking about the sound, the amount of bass it can produce is satisfactory, but the mid-bass is elevated and sits on top of the lower-mids, causing vocals to be pushed back in busier mixes. Subs are too quiet in relation to the thick mid-bass. Mids and high-mids are generally good, except for an overemphasis of lower-mids (maybe trying to make up for what the mid-bass covers). High-mids are good, not particularly detailed but also not recessed. Highs and high-highs are a mess, out of the box you can get lisping consonants that are also too present, caused by a wavy, peaky profile between 7 and 12khz that is both boosted with peaks, and brought down as a whole. The first thoughts were "this is not how an S should sound like." And then after they you might be asking, why did I rate this 5 stars? Because there's a parametric EQ, that allows you to fix all that into a good overall result, took me 5 tries (I'm an audio professional, I make records and mix live for a living), and in the end it was a clear keeper. I walk around with a competitors 130€+ set in my pocket too, that sounds much better than these (and has an even better EQ), and the price difference is justified, but you can't beat the feature set and the ability to correct its imperfections for around 30€, make this an absolute clear buy recommendation.
