I confess, I bought the first one for myself. I'm no artist, but there's a particular headspace where I want to do something creative with a pen, but I'm tired of thinking in words. This playful little journal is perfect for that. I mean really, even I can draw a dot. And once I've done that, I often find myself adding little curvy lines and maybe a few straight ones, and whoops there's a flower. Or a bee. And what's that? Is that a smile on my face? How'd that get there?Great book for both the young and the aspirationally young-at-heart.
