I've owned a Garmin Tactix watch (tactical version of the Fenix line) for years. Every... single... year... (can you feel the frustration?) I've purchased and replaced my band because the band fastener ring breaks every 11-12 months. Many many people have this same problem and I've read several like minded complaints speaking of how they have owned Casio and Timex (much less expensive) watches for years without this problem. As a result, my expensive watch has had an additional $40-50 annual increase in cost, because the only option I was aware of was to buy a new band... simply because the fastener ring broke. I could have gone with cheaper third party bands, but I really like the Garmin band and many other band reviews spoke of the retainer breaking even quicker. This year, after using black rubber bands as a "band-aid" fix, I finally grit my teeth and went to buy another new band... fortunately for me, the one I purchased the last two times wasn't available any more. In my search for another seller I found the band and the price had decreased... but to my surprise, this product was suggested. This was a surprise, because the first time my band fastener ring broke I went searching for just fastener ring, but my only option was an entire band replacement kit. Thank you, thank you, thank you for making this product available. With one purchase I now have years of replacements for the single point failure in my awesome watch. Not only that, I didn't even have to remove the band to install the fastener ring. I haven't had mine installed for very long, but these fastener rings appear to be high quality. They are thick, sturdy, flexible, with the OEM textured feel, and are perfectly shaped to match the grooves and holes of my band. For my fellow Garmin Fenix/Tactix owners experiencing the frustration of band retainer failure, I HIGHLY recommend this product!

These replacement fasteners fit the band on my Garmin Fenix 5x perfectly. I'm pretty active so my Garmin takes a beating, and I break these fasteners every so often and the price point on these let me keep a pack of them on hand at all times. For me, these fasteners are better than the original ones that came with my Fenix because they have that little nub that inserts into the holes in the watch band so the fastener does not slip off. Will definitely buy again if needed.

The strap keeper on the original Fenix strap broke. Rather than buying a new strap, these are a solid option. They are a little bigger than the original but for the quantity and price, you can't go wrong. I will definitely buy these again should I go through all I received. Excellent value

If you found these it's probably because you need them and don't want to buy a new band. I had 2 retainers on my original Garmin Fenix 5X band. One of them broke several months ago and I just made do with the single one that was left. When that broke, I was searching for a cheap replacement band and ran across these. I ordered them and they arrived quickly and were exactly as described. Installation was simple and the watch band is good as new. They appear to be as rugged as the original retainers were and the color matched almost perfectly. You'll probably never need 10 of them but they are good to have in a pinch. I'm sure they would work on other bands of the same size such as Casio, FitBit etc.

They were easy to install and work on the used Fenix 3 I purchased to replace the fastener that broke after I purchased the watch.

Recent broke the fastener loop (Loop with the little nob/nib on the inside that grabs the holes on the band) and found these. Good option for those that do not want to order a compete new band. The Black-A band matches the color of the Fenix 5x band (black) perfectly. Slides on easily and having 10 of them allowed me to replace the non-holding band as well. Figured twice the hold. If I could give a more accurate rating... I'd give it a 4.8, or so, for the Fenix 5x. My reason is the nib is not as large as the OEM one and it has slid out of the band-holes allowing it to slide up/down. As it is a multi-watchband compatible device I am unsure if there is a difference for the other watches and this compromise was the best to work for all. I'm pleased I found these.

Both of the strap retainers on my Fenix 5X Plus band broke within a couple days of each other. Frustrated, I looked on Amazon for replacements. I couldn't find any from Garmin that didn't include buying a complete new band for forty or fifty dollars. Boo to Garmin! Enter this package of ten retainers for $7 or so. Upon initial inspection, they're just a little bigger than what came with the original band, and they are square-cornered on all four sides as opposed to two sides being chamfered. I don't know if that will prove to be problematic down the road, nor can I determine if these retainers will be as durable as the originals (I got 18 months of service out of the original retainers). I will re-visit this review down the road and provide an update as to how long they will last. For now, I'm am giving 3 stars on value, durability and overall. Ease of install garners 5 stars.

Exactly as describe fit to watch strap perfectly and now I have a bunch of spares

We all know the strap ties are often knocked and can split, leaving your Garmin precarious to be lost by a simple knock the strap latch. But being able to just replace the fastener rings, gives the old strap all the safety you need, saving the need to have to replace it. Great product, thanks
