Amazon screwed up the shipping the first time and it was out for delivery for like 3 days when finally they said it was "undeliverable", whatever that means. As soon as it was changed to this status I ordered this knife and it was immediately shipped and i got it 2 days later. I could tell i really liked this knife and had a good feeling about it or i wouldn't have ordered again.The knife is amazing. It looks exactly as pictured and it comes pretty well sharpened and well oiled. The sheath is also very nice. It fits perfectly. I've always loved knives and this one has to be my most favorite I've bought. Also the cross guard. You cant really tell from the pictures but its an "s" shaped cross guard with the top facing forward. This also looks nice but thought I wanted to make that clear for everybody. The tang is not exactly full tang like it looks like where the blade extends into the full width of the handle. The part that extends into the blade is roughly .75" wide and goes down to this size where the blade meets the cross guard. I think this is substantial enough and should be plenty sturdy but the way the handle is made, its kind of misleading so i also wanted to clear that up.Overall i really love this blade and plan of having it for a long time. The only negative is that there was a little rust in the cracks around where the blade meets the cross guard on both sides. For this i brushed it a little and put a precision pour bottle of tuff oil in the cracks so it should be alright. That being said this is a very sturdy knife and i see no imperfections in the blade or the handle, really, which also looks very nice.TLDR; This is an awesome knife so if you fell in love with the picture, thats exactly what you're going to get.

The guard on mine has a very noticeable twist on one side. There is a large gap where the blade and the guard meet. The beveling on the handle is very uneven. There is a gap between the guard and the tang. And it is most definitely not a full tang. The tang shown is a separate piece of metal to make it look like a full tang. It looks good from a long way away. But up close it just looks awful.

I like the shape and length but too bulky blade a bit too wide for me. I use it to go pig hunting and i dont like huge hole wen i shank the pig lol but otherwise its a great knife,good craftmenship good detail deaign

Massive, but well balanced....sets well in your hand . A truly beautiful bit of steel that's worth well in excess of the price paid.

Loved it very nice knife beautiful

Really liked the knife a lot, it was sturdy and well constructed. The blade was thick and the pattern was really nice. I would have kept it, but the box came opened and there was no sheath for it. Makes it hard to carry around a knife with a 10inch blade. Its handmade, so if you are looking for perfection, this is not the knife for you. Although I think it just adds to the what it is.
